• You have just moved from a remote island off the coast of Guam to the United States. Where you once lived the people did not celebrate holidays, especially not Christmas. After living in the United States for a few months November is almost over and the Christmas season is beginning. Since you do not know anything about Christmas you want to find out as much as you can about different traditions around the world before December 25 is here.

You have just moved to the United States and do not know how you would like to celebrate Christmas. Your goal is to find out as much as you can about the different traditions around the world and choose one you like best. Your family is visiting you from the island you used you live so you want to show them what it is like to live in the US and show them some of Americans customs.

Your only have a few months to do all of you research, plan a huge Christmas party for all of your friends and family visiting and choose what traditions you want to adopt as your own.

You will:• Research fun traditions and ways of celebrating Christmas

around the world. • Interview class mates to see how they celebrate their holidays.• Create a power point describing your ideal Christmas

celebration, including who you will celebrate with, what you will eat and what traditions you will adopt as your own.
