SEPT - OCT 2016 Oneness, or spiritual oneness has many degrees or levels. As Master Choa explains, when the incarnated soul achieves a higher and greater degree of oneness with the Higher Soul, the person is said to have achieved Soul- realisation, and is called an Arhat or a Paramhansa. Hence, though we all are connected to our Higher Soul and Divine Self to some extent, it is the degree of oneness that states one’s level of evolution. This simply means that since we all come from the same source, the Parambrahma, while we experience Individuality, we are also One. Based on this Principle of Oneness, whatever a person does to others, he does to himself. This cause is set in the inner world, and will inevitably physically materialise unless a neutralising factor is set in motion. The effect may be pleasant or unpleasant depending on the nature of the deed. This is how the Law of Karma comes into play. When one understands this and practices Oneness, it is easier to let go and forgive others, be loving, kind and generous, thereby producing more positive karma. Also, based on the Principle of Interconnectedness and Principle of Oneness, one can have access to Power, Love and Intelligence. Even a little access and a minute dosage of Divine Power, Divine Love and Divine Intelligence manifest as incredible phenomena, which the masses call miracles. By increasing spiritual oneness, one has increased soul connection. A greater quantity of soul energy descends into the lower chakras and regulates them. This leads to transformation and self-mastery. The invocations and healings also become very powerful. The person becomes magnetic. It becomes easier to fly in the inner world, and have great spiritual experiences while meditating. So how do we practice and experience Oneness? Oneness, or spiritual oneness has many degrees or levels. As Master Choa explains, when the incarnated soul achieves a higher and greater degree of oneness with the Higher Soul, the person is said to have achieved Soul- realisation, and is called an Arhat  or a Paramhansa.

Further, when he achieves a greater degree of oneness with God, he is said to have achieved God- realisation. Hence, though we all are connected to our Higher Soul and Divine Self to some extent, it is the degree of oneness that states one’s level of evolution.

The Principle of Individuality and the Principle of Oneness- Individuality and Oneness coexist simultaneously.

The key to oneness means giving up wrong ideas and enslavement to lower emotions. One cannot achieve oneness without purification and character building.

Another term for oneness is yoga. There are many paths to achieving illumination and spiritual oneness, and Grandmaster Choa Kok Sui has taught us many such techniques.

Bhakti Yoga. To achieve calmness and stillness, one must activate the heart. This is easily and beautifully achieved by practising Meditation on Twin Hearts regularly.

During the technique of illumination in this meditation, one may experience an explosion of light and expansion of consciousness during which one may experience divine oneness and bliss, says Guruji.

Also, by loving a person intensely and recognising the divinity, you achieve a certain degree of oneness.

Raja Yoga. “Heaven is not here or there or anywhere. It is within you!” This means that heaven is a higher state of consciousness, or the gateway to heaven is within you. By meditating on the Crown chakra or the Blue Pearl, one can experience heaven or divine oneness while still in the physical body. This can be achieved by practising Meditation on the Higher Soul, which is the basis of Patanjali’s Raja Yoga, as taught by Grandmaster.

Kundalini yoga. The Meditation on the Inner Breath, or Arhatic  Kundalini meditation deeply purifies our chakras and subtle bodies, while safely awakening the kundalini energy by bringing down divine energy. Practicing this meditation results in experiencing divine union or oneness with the Higher Soul.

Dhyana Yoga. Arhatic Dhyan is the practice of prolonged awareness to increase sensitivity. “You can achieve illumination by looking at a flower. By looking at nature, you can become one with all,” says Guruji in GLS.  By practicing stillness and awareness, one can achieve oneness. It is through stillness that you recognize your divinity and the divinity in others. While awareness helps you to listen to the whisper of your Higher Soul, you become aware of your Buddha nature, your soul.

Jnana Yoga is the yoga of knowledge and understanding. By reading certain spiritual texts and esoteric sciences, one can experience spiritual oneness and illumination. The Existence of God is Self Evident is one such book written by GMCKS. By repeatedly reading this book over and over again, one can rapidly achieve illumination and Divine oneness within a short period of time.

Hatha Yoga is the yoga of achieving divine oneness by physical purification. Without a clean, healthy and strong physical body, one cannot withstand the powerful divine energies produced during spiritual practices.

The I AM affirmation taught in the Soul Realisation class is also a very powerful technique which enables one to recognize the divinity within oneself and others, and experience divine oneness and Oneness with all. Inner purification through various techniques helps in purifying the incarnated soul, resulting in a higher degree of oneness with the Higher Soul.

As Master says, Serenity is the highest form of peace and nirvana is tranquility. It is the kingdom of heaven within you. We can achieve these states of consciousness through oneness.

“To keep evolving as a Soul and having learnt "I am a Spiritual Being of Divine Intelligence, Divine Love, Divine Power, I am one with the Higher Soul, I am one with All, I am that I Am” and experiencing the same – that for me is Divine Oneness. The Soul's journey from learning and experience so far is into the inner world, which is magnificent and vibrant at times, and void and dark at other times. However, happiness, calmness and peace remain, even after the return. That gives me tremendous happiness and positivity.” - Choitalee Bhattacharya

“When the self is in Divine Oneness there is no past, no future, only the present exists! No worries, no cares even existence of the physical form is absent, a truly unique experience beyond word!” - Shaktipriya Choudhuri

“During the Meditation on the Blue Pearl the experience was as if all souls are just lights. No body, no name but merging into one light without loosing their individuality.” - Shilpi Hiwale

“Wesak Meditation - I experienced a bright white light that poured on me like a cloud burst. Also during the Meditation on the Higher Soul I felt like I was sitting in a Rocket with tremendous speed to reach out to the light far away. This helped me to be more clear in my decisions and help me be calm and more connected to the universe.” - Dipti Palkar

EXPERIENCE OF DIVINE ONENESS

“Through stillness, you realize your own divinity and you realize the divinity in others.” - GMCKS

“Everything is connected to everything else. What we think, say, do and believe will have a corresponding effect on others and the world around us.” - Manisha Kudtarkar

“Soul class completely changed my outlook to life. Soul meditation helped me reduce my inner noise and gave me much clarity of thoughts. I gained a lot of emotional stability, as well as extreme focus and concentration, which improved my overall productivity and my ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time without feeling exhausted.” - Amit Lala

Genesis 1:26 of the Bible says, “Let us make man in our image.” When God created people, He created them in His image. This, however, has nothing to do with physical characteristics. It does not mean that God looks like us with two eyes, two ears and a mouth. Being created after God’s image means that a person partakes in God’s Divine Essence. In John 10:34, Jesus said, “Is it not written in your law, “I have said you are Gods’?. You are all Children of the Most High.” That is why the Lord’s Prayer starts with “Our Father in Heaven,” not with Jesus’ Father in Heaven. We are all children of God. This means that in each one of us, there is a Divine essence or a Divine spark. In Buddhism, there is a Buddha nature in each person. In Hinduism, there is a Jivatma or an incarnated soul in each person.

To better understand this concept, think of a car. What are you doing? I am thinking of a car. Who is the thinker? I AM the thinker. What was

created? The thought of a car. Are you the thought itself? No. Disintegrate the thought. What is left? The I AM. The I AM is the thinker, the I AM is the creator of the thoughts. You are the I AM. Disintegrate all the thoughts that you have created. What is left? I AM.

SNIPPET: HOW TO BLESS YOUR GOALS WITH SUCCESS

All of us have personal and professional goals, which we strive to achieve successfully. Alas, many a times we come across hurdles and obstacles. This not only delays the fulfillment of our projects but also disheartens us along the way.

GMCKS always said that the energy work done should be 70%, and the physical efforts should be 30%. This is the sign of efficiency. For most people, it is vice-versa, as they invest a lot of time and effort in doing physical work. As a result, the amount of time taken to complete a task is longer, and the levels of fatigue and stress are higher.

The Guru, thankfully, has given us many ways of achieving our targets successfully. One of the best ways is by blessing our work or projects with success. When we bless our projects, they get energized with Divine Energy, which has a purifying effect thereby disintegrating the negative energies of obstacles that cause delays. Blessing our projects also magnetizes them, helping them attract the right people, right resources and right things needed for their successful completion.

The best way to bless your goals is after doing the MTH. You may visualize your goal/project as having been completed and bless it with a lot of success. You may also bless your colleagues and co-workers with love, harmony, inspiration and success. You may even recite the Great Invocation for rapidly bringing down Divine Energy and using it for further blessing your projects with tremendous success. You can also invoke to the Supreme God and all the Great Ones and request for their Divine Blessings of Success.

Another priceless technique for helping us materialize our goals and wishes is Kriya Shakti. The technique of KS helps us remove inner obstacles and negative programs that prevent us from fulfilling our wishes and achieving our goals.

To learn more about Kriya Shakti and the fulfillment of your goals, contact the Foundation for details about the upcoming class.

Today, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is one of the foremost causes of morbidity and mortality. An estimated 600 million patients worldwide suffer from it. In fact, it has been estimated that by 2020 COPD will be the third leading cause of death and the fifth most common cause of morbidity in the world. Against this backdrop, a group of six pranic healers cum medical doctors, led by Dr. Mahesh P. A., attempted to study how Pranic Healing could help provide relief to COPD patients.

Objective: To study the Effects of Pranic Healing on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The research questions posed were as follows:

• Whether Pranic healing will reduce COPD symptoms

• Whether Pranic Healing is effective in improving Activity and impact in COPD subjects

• Whether Pranic Healing will increase the Physical and Psychological participation of COPD subjects

• Will there be an improvement in quality of life after Pranic Healing sessions

Methodology: Two groups were created – Control group and Pranic Group. Inclusion criteria for the patients included 40-75 year old male patients diagnosed with COPD stage 2, who were smokers for at least 10 years, and had no other major morbidities. The Double blind placebo controlled randomized clinical trial was used to any bias and confounding factors regarding the selection of patients as well as the usefulness of a treatment modality.

Medication: Subjects from both groups were given the standard care for COPD according to GOLD guidelines practised throughout the world. Duration of Study: One year, conducted in two phases. Number of Study Participants: 20 Subjects in all; 10 in each groupPranic Healing Protocol was applied on the Pranic Group as provided in Advanced Pranic Healing book by GMCKS. Pranic healing was applied three times a week.

Main Findings: • The Pulmonary Function Test showed a positive trend in Pranic Healing group subjects • Subjects in Pranic Healing group performed better in the Six Minutes Walk test • St George's Respiratory Questionnaire showed a significant improvement in participants Activity, Impact and

Total scores • Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression showed a tendency towards improvement Outcome assessments were undertaken by independent assessors, who were not associated with the Pranic Healers, so as to rule out outcome bias. Moreover, all outcome assessors did not know whether the subjects were receiving active treatment or placebo.

Limitations of the Study: The low numbers of COPD patients (N=20) in the study was the main limitation of the study. As a result, even though many variables showed a tendency to significance, it was not found to be significant because of the low numbers. This would change if a larger number of subjects was included in the study.

Conclusion: The results of the study are clearly indicative of the beneficial effects of Pranci Healing in treating COPD, alongside conventional medicine. More specifically, the study generated “Level 1B evidence” regarding the use of Pranic healing in the management of COPD as an adjunct to standard of care.

Is there any workshop related to spirituality?

Pranic Healing is a bridge to spirituality by clearing the aura from negative and unwholesome thoughts and emotions. Pranic Healing is basically a preparation for the higher spiritual workshops including Achieving Oneness with the Higher Soul and Arhatic Yoga workshops. Arhatic Yoga provides a path to arhatship or sainthood. It involves advanced purifications, meditations and breathing exercises that accelerates the evolutionary process of the soul.

Are there any medical doctors or medical centers that practice Pranic Healing?

There are plenty of medical doctors and all over the world that complement Pranic Healing with their profession. Pranic Healing has also departments in a number of hospitals worldwide including Northern California Neurosurgery and Kaiser Permanent hospitals in US, Sinai Medical Centre and Brown’s Cancer Leukemia Support Centre in Australia, as well as the Apollo hospitals all over India. In fact there are currently a great number of dentists, general surgeons, medical practitioners, specialists and nurses who use Pranic Healing effectively in their profession.

Will the healer get depleted or affected after the healing?

In Pranic Healing energetic hygiene is highly important and a special care is given to the healer. By applying simple self-healing and self-energizing techniques and cutting the energetic links connecting the healer to the patient after each treatment, no harm will be directed to the healer. The energizing techniques also have been designed in such a way that the healer does not project his/her own energy to the patient. It basically follows the “water pump approach” by receiving air prana and projecting it to the patient.

How is Arhatic Yoga different from Hatha Yoga and other Yogas?

Arhatic Yoga® is advanced yoga practiced by Adepts and Yogis since ancient times. It was revealed to GrandMaster Choa Kok Sui by His Spiritual Teacher, MahaGuruji Mei Ling. Arhatic Yoga is a synthesis of practices related to internal alchemy. This does not involve the difficult physical postures of Hatha Yoga, but rather emphasizes meditations for deep and thorough purification of the chakras, meridians and subtle bodies. Afterwards, the tremendous amounts of Soul Energies are pulled into the system to safely awaken the Kundalini. In addition you will be given a step by step routine on how to maintain and continually improve your spiritual practices. This will involve a schedule you can follow to accelerate your spiritual development and still have a normal everyday life.
