Cup Stack Contest! How To Facilitate: Pick two teams! If you have a big group of people you can have bigger teams. I usually pick about 4-5 participants per team. I like to use 6 cups per team like the picture above and a stool or something to stack the cups on so everyone in the crowd can see. Tell the crowd, you will select the next teams based on how loud they are getting and showing good sportsmanship/getting quiet when instructed to. As the facilitator you say “Go!” and the participants will run to their stool and stack the cups up, whoever is first stays on and the person that loses must join the audience! The next round the winner goes to the back of their teams line and two new contestants step up to play. Whoever is last standing wins and their team gets the point! Remix Version! (Have them stack the cups by weaving their hands in and out of a soccer goal!) Songs to pair this contest with to get crowd hype and make the participants nervous: Darude – Sandstorm, The Final Countdown – Europe, Rock and Roll Part 2 – Gary Glitter, Interlude – Attack Attack! Many others to pair, just a few that come to mind! Teams can also decide on their intro song for the championship round!

(Have them stack the cups by weaving their hands in and out of a soccer goal!)

Songs to pair this contest with to get crowd hype and make the participants nervous: Darude – Sandstorm, The Final Countdown – Europe, Rock and Roll Part 2 – Gary Glitter, Interlude – Attack Attack! Many others to pair, just a few that come to mind! Teams can also decide on their intro song for the championship round!

Equipment: Stereo, Solo Cups, 2 stools, cones or something for them to stand behind before they run up!

This activity can be an ice breaker, contest, or just something to do with any age group!
