• In 1938, Lee Byung-Chull founded X, a small trading company with forty employees located in Daegu. The company prospered until the Communist invasion in 1950 when he was forced to leave Seoul and start over in Busan. During the war, X's businesses flourished and its assets grew twenty-fold. In 1953, Lee started a sugar refinery—South Korea’s first manufacturing facility after the Korean War. Only 5 years after this, X went into electronics, and today is a market leader in this segment.

He was given a 10% stake in Apple, but relinquished his stock for $800 only two weeks later because legally all members of a partnership are personally responsible for any debts incurred by any of the other partners. That stock could have been worth as much as $ 1.5 billion if he had retained it. Name him.

•"We ran a couple of ads that created quite a furore," says Sylvester daCunha (then the managing director of the advertising agency, ASP). "The Indian Airlines one really angered the authorities. They said if they didn't take down the ads they would stop supplying <PRODUCT> on the plane. So ultimately we discontinued the ad," he says laughing. The Gandhi cap was a symbol of independence, they couldn't have anyone not taking that seriously. So despite their reluctance the hoardings were wiped clean. "Then there was an ad during the Ganpati festival which said, Ganpati Bappa More Ghya (Ganpati Bappa take more). The Shiv Sena people said that if we didn't do something about removing the ad they would come and destroy our office. Which product and brand?
