OUR” FIT KIDZ” AND “FIT YOUTH” POLICIES:Fit Kidz: We have an exciting new policy for parents and their kidz (10-11 year olds): After meeting with one of our Certified Fitness Trainers, parents can work out next to their children on the cardio equipment. During your appointment you will both learn how to use the cardio equipment safely and sign a contract which will outline the policies for kidz in the gym. Kidz will be given a colored shoe tag that must be worn, to identify them while in the facility.

Fit Youth: Youth who are 12 years old may work out in the entire fitness facility once they have had an appointment with one of our Certified Fitness Trainers. Abs & Buns: A variety of exercises designed to tone the areas we all love to work on. Basic Yoga: New to Yoga? This class is for you.Balanced Barre: Hottest new form of exercise. This workout combines balance, agility, and resistance all into a challenging, high-energy, mustic-driven, fun, balanced barre system! Better Bones: Wanting to begin an exercise program and don’t know where to start? This program is for you. Join us for this fun, social interactive workout all based from a chair. This program is also designed for those at risk of osteoporosis and other age-associated diseases. Come and exercise in a safe environment.Boot Camp: This class helps to build confidence, strength and physical stamina. Participants are challenged to push the boundaries of their endurance in order to reach their fitness and health goals.Cardio Combat Bootcamp: An exhilarating total body workout where a fusion of martial arts meets chart-topping music. Improve your cardio ability, strength and power!Cardio Core: Mix it up with fun low impact cardio and core toning exercises for overall abdominal core strength. Group Rx RIP: RIP is a 60-minute full body barbell program for men and women of all ages and all fitness levels. Matching movement to music and using traditional strength training patterns, you will be able to learn the program which stays consistent for weeks before progressing to the next program.High Energy Step: For those who love high energy and challenging routines. Not recommended for beginners.HIIT: HIIT is a training idea in which low to moderate intensity intervals are alternated with high intensity intervals. HIIT is considered to be much more effective than normal cardio because the intensity is higher and you are able to increase both your aerobic and anaerobic endurance while burning more fat than ever before.Kettle Bell Circuit: what a great way to swing into an all-around full body workout with some exhilarating music and challenging new moves. Make sure to hold on tight, this workouts going to be a blast.Line Dancing: Challenge the mind and body and have fun. Variety of music. Beginners welcome.Limited Mobility Yoga: This class is geared towards those individuals that have a harder time getting on and off the floor. This is a chair based yoga class. We start with gentle traditional yoga poses to center yourself, improve body awareness and strength. Suitable for all levels of fitness.MFR MYO-FACIA Release: Enjoy a relaxing hour of myo-facia releases using a soft foam roller and small balls to roll out any stressed muscles. Leave feeling lengthened & relaxed.PBS: Posture, Balance and Strength. Keep moving and discover your strength through core exercises. A great class for beginners, seniors and participants that may be doing rehabilitation. Class includes the use of dumbbells, tubing, and balls.Shotokan Karate: Learn a “traditional martial art”. Develop new skills and self confidence in a safe and fun environment that promotes a healthy lifestyle. Different classes for kids and adults. Step Fusion: First part of class will be your traditional step class with some fun choreography. The last portion of class will include some type of strength training. Free weights, bands, sliders, are things you may use. Great class to get your all around workout in, cardio AND strength!Step N Rx: Get the best of both worlds! Step class with the added bonus of some of the new hot tracks from our famous Rx class! After your step, you may work abs and legs, or chest and back, but always something. Come and try this sizzling workout!Stretch for Health: Gentle stretching to improve your flexibility, balance, coordination & body awareness, set to relaxing music. Suitable for all.Strong & Active 40+: A perfect blend of strength training and low impact cardio for the active aging generation.

Tabata: This program can be completed in as little as 4 minute intervals. This high intensity interval training offers more health benefits than traditional cardio exercises.TRX: The TRX Suspension Trainer is a workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise because you can adjust your body position to add or decrease resistanceeach exercise because you can adjust your body position to add or decrease resistanceTRX Bootcamp: TRX will have you working with a suspension training system to strengthen and condition your muscles. Boot camp will have you burning calories and working your cardiovascular system for that complete body challenge. All fitness levels welcome and no experience necessary, we will teach you.Wing Chun Kung Fu: A style of martial arts from southern China that uses superior position and technique, not strength and size, to overcome an opponent. Program focuses on fitness, self-defense, and personal development in an open, cooperative class environment. Appropriate for people of all fitness levels. MIND BODYBASIC YOGANew to Yoga? This class is for you. Basic yoga is a slower paced practice that is gentle on the entire body. Basic yoga increases your mobility, strength and stamina leaving you feeling more open and at peace. YIN YOGAYin Yoga is a slower paced practice that targets joints, tendons, ligaments and fascia within the body. This style of yoga increases your mobility leaving you feeling more open and at peace. The postures are held for 3-5 minutes to encourage a slow and safe opening of the connective tissues. Yin is the balance of Yang yoga which targets the muscles. Yoga can be the perfect companion to counteract the effects of overused muscles as it’s primary function is to restore the body to balance and symmetry. NEW “DARE TO DANCE”Movement and rhythm are essential to what it is to be human, and yet, we often feel self-conscious or intimidated when invited to dance. Consider this class an opportunity to get in touch with your “Inner Dancer”, in an atmosphere of playfulness. We will focus on multiple aspects of movement; a Yoga inspired warm up and cool down, as well as explorations of a variety of global dance elements. GENTLE AQUA-FIT A shallow water class with low to moderate intensity cardiovascular exercise with minimal impact. Balance, core strength, resistance exercises and stretching are included

SHALLOW SHED Shred body fat in this one hour boot camp-style class that incorporates both cardio and high intensity moves for upper body, lower body & core, resulting in a dynamic, full body workout.

TURBO PUMP This 40 minute noon-hour class is an intense cardio class incorporating both upper and lower body. The class will finish with a stretch component.

PUBLIC SWIM The diving board or rope is open along with toys and mats in the pool. *At least one, often two lanes are available for lap swimming**Space may be limited during advanced courses, staff in-services, some Aqua-Fit classes, or other events*

CCRR RESOURCESREFERRAL SERVICEFinding the right child care option can be a tedious and worrisome task. We assist parents in their search by providing them with information and resources about what they can look for in a quality Child Care facility or home. The referral service will provide a list of child care providers of Licensed Group, Licensed Family and Registered License Not Required childcare services and familiarize parents with their different options and can give advice about quality childcare. The CCRR provides Members of the Child Care Resource and Referral Program benefit from year-round advertisement.

TOY LENDING AND RESOURCE LIBRARYThe CCRR’s Toy Lending and Resource Library is a valuable resource for parents, early childhood care and education workers, infant and child development support workers, therapists, teachers, informal caregivers and recreational programmers. There is a large variety of materials that will support children’s social, emotional, physical, language and cognitive development. There are children’s books that cover a wide range of subjects and resource books for adults. Resources include everything from parenting books, child development texts, specialized topics, and thematic resource books to name a few. It’s FREE!
