Benefits for delegates & the community

92.4% of students gain confidence in their public speaking abilities from being a delegate.

89.3% of students are more open to having their views on an issue be challenged as result of being a delegate.

95.2% of participants would recommend the Hershey YMCA Model UN program to friends at their school and other schools.

Conference Format

• Conference held over a weekend early January (Fri-Sun)

• Arrival Friday 10:00am• Depart Sunday 12 noon

• Hershey Lodge & Convention Center in Hershey, PA

• 1,500 students from NJ, PA, DE & MD from 40 schools

• Schools recruit & prepare students from Sept-Dec.
