Yes We Can!(We already have in Texas)#2010 Sept. 23 NWC Boston#Howdy Boston! It is nice to be here. My name is Andre McDonald and I am from the little town of Wedlock in Fort Bend County, Texas. To you Bostonians that makes me a Deep Southie When I travel around the USA and tell folks that they say, you dont look like I expect Texans to look. I ask them what they expect Texans to look like and they usually say, you know, like Roy Rodgers or John Wayne. Well, Roy was born Leonard Franklin Slye in Cincinnati, Ohio; and the Duke was born Marion Robert Morrison and Winterset, Iowa. Sam HoustonTennessee; Jim Bowie Louisiana.Willie Nelson and Major Nelson who was also JR Ewing (Larry Hagman) are Texans as are Dale Evans and Farrah Fawcett not to mention the head who dat; Drew Breese. I guess in the interest of full disclosure; I should tell you that I was born in Texas but not in Wedlock.I dont know much about Boston except that they have a baseball team that plays in the other League. It seems a shame that you have to share your football team with Rhode Island and New Hampshire. We have an extra team in Texas that we would be willing to send you. If the Mormons of Utah can host a team named the Jazz, it shouldnt be too hard for the Yankees of Boston to cheer their very own Cowboys. Oops; I didnt mean to use the Y word in a sports context here in Boston.1Forbes: Fort Bend County No. 1 in Job GrowthFort Bend County takes top spot in Forbes Magazines list of Best Places to Get Ahead.Home to 3 of top 10 best selling MPC in USA
