A laptop is light and it can operate on battery. Therefore, you can carry it around and use
it whenever you want. You can’t do that with a desktop. Although a laptop is portable, it is
more expensive than a desktop. Besides that, it can break easily if you drop it.
On the other hand, a desktop occupies more space but it is more lasting compared to a
laptop. It is not likely to break because you can’t move it about like a laptop.

QUESTION 1
Kok Jun and Yu Bin were flying their kites in the field. Suddenly, the wind became strong
and the string of Kok Jun’s kite snapped. It landed on a tree and they quickly ran towards
the tree.
Kok Jun climbed up the tree to get his kite. Unfortunately, the branch that Kok Jun was
stepping on broke and he fell onto the ground. He cried in pain and Yu Bin informed Kok
Jun’s parents immediately.
His left leg was broken and had to stay in the hospital for a week. His friends came to visit
him and brought along a new kite for him. He was very happy and thanked them for the
gift.
QUESTION 2
Ben, a mischievous boy saw a bird nest on a rambutan tree in his backyard. He climbed
up the tree swiftly and took the eggs away.
He dreamt of being chased by a giant bird on that night. He screamed his lungs out and
ran as fast as he could. He woke up right after that and was in fright.
He realised his wrong-doing and felt regretted with what he had done. He knew it was
wrong to take the eggs away. The next day, he put the eggs back into the nest. He turned
over a new leaf since that incident.
