With his recent Apostolic Letter, “ Patris Corde,” or “With a Father’s Heart,” Pope Francis declared the Year of St. Joseph, beginning this past December 8, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception and ending the same date in 2021. The Pope concluded his address with this prayer, asking for the grace of conversion: Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. To you God entrusted his only Son; in you Mary placed her trust; with you Christ became man. Blessed Joseph, to us too, show yourself a father and guide us in the path of life.
