    !#"$$&'%*()

HHoommeeWritten in December 2020 in response to a question asked by a dear friend.

In the 1990's, a pastor confided in me. He didn't want his married daughter to havechildren, because of the things we both understood that would be disastrous…ifthose difficult days appeared. After his first-born grandchild, he was so glad... andnow they have 8 grand kids. That said, we are still waiting for those days. Then, acouple (brother and sister in the Lord) visited us in August with similar concerns...kids, grandkids. From another couple she had heard things that disturbed her so,she asked.

The majority of believers have knowledge of only a few things, of the vast amount,God has revealed about those days, and the rest of the world is mostly clueless. Many people truly have the mindset, “it will never happen to me” or that "thingswill work out," which are Satan's lies; because Jesus said, Matthew 24:21-22.

Here is the truth. God, our Creator, is not slow to act, but desires all people tobelieve, love, and serve Him, 2 Peter 3:9. We are encouraged to wait upon theLord, Psalm 130:5. That means we are to go about our lives faithfully living, loving, and serving the Lord, as we serve others in the name of the Lord... not forour glory, but for the glory of God.

Now, to speak about the things we ought to do: If this President remains in office...even if the next several presidents serve with a similar mindset... God's propheticword will likely be delayed... which is good... 2 Peter 3:9, more will come to thetruth and knowledge of Yeshua Jesus Christ. If the other candidate is elected, theprophetic clock will likely quicken. Paul explains that Christ came at the right time,Romans 5:6. Whether those difficult days tarry or come quickly, it will be at ourCreator God's appointed time... you already know this. So, we are to live (die) inChrist Jesus... whatever our lot; boldly raising our children to live in the same way.

God's Word may make you uncomfortable, that is, what I am about to say. Theonly people who earnestly read the Bible are the people who seek to know ourCreator God, His ways, His truth, and His Word with regard godly living and tothe future... always with eternal hope ever present in their hearts, Titus 1:2. Thissaid, you and I, must understand God's Word will never lose its potency. Usingdifferent words, God is who coined the original slogan: promises made... promiseskept. Because His faithful people are the only people who read His Word earnestly, those words ought to be taken to heart. Numerous times God has informed Hisfaithful people that those who endure to the end will be saved; Rev 2:3; Mark13:13; Matthew 24:13. Clearly, we (faithful people at that time in history) willexperience the atrocities of great evil, but that will lead to our opportunity to tellothers about Jesus and future things, Daniel 11:33.

Revelation 13:17 "and he [false prophet] provides that no one will be able to buyor to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or thenumber of his name." NASB We are to remember there is NO FORGIVENESSfor the people (believers too) taking the mark, Revelation 14:9-10.

Okay... now to answer your specific question... where to live, 2 Corinthians 5:7-8.

Doesn't matter where you live. The closer we are to Jesus and our family, the better,Philippians 1:21. When persecution comes, your home, our home, will be unjustlytaken. We will not buy or sell. We will be destitute. Jesus has informed us that we(many in His name) will be murdered, John 16:2 (synagogue means "meetingplace;" for the time being, the earth is Satan's synagogue, Revelation 2:9; John14:30). What matters most is to remain faithful to God, our Creator, through HisSon, Jesus.

Lucy and I love you, and we always hope for your best in everything.

    Allan

Matthew 23:15 “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make oneproselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofoldmore the child of hell than yourselves.”

From time to time I have received responses to these weekly articles expressing dis-agreement. Some of those responding believe that I am a deceiver on my way to eternaljudgement. Other think I am simply deceived in a particular area. But either way theyreflect a genuine concern for my soul. I appreciate such people even though we maybe on opposite sides of a theological perspective or biblical issue. They seem to havea genuine concern for me and a love for what they regard as the truth. Sadly, thosefolks are a minority. Many of the ones that write or call have a downright meanness in their spirit. They areself-righteous, harsh and arrogant. They are like the ones Jesus refers to in the passageabove. They have the truth and are going to use it like a hammer! Sometimes they aredeceitful. They will lead with a set-up question designed to entrap under the guise ofasking a sincere question. Then they will explode with whatever their particular hobbyhorse is. It is evident that they are not seeking to save a soul or even to seek truth. They are only concerned with winning and, in their view, trouncing. It is not their positionthat defines them. It is their disposition.
