Year 7 – Remote Learning Overviews – Term 3
Introduction to the remote learning overviews
UPDATED INFORMATION: JAN 2021 Please note that the following document was created in December 2020. During the Christmas break it was announced that there will be a delayed start to secondary schools in England. This document will still provide an outline of the topics to be covered but all students should check the ‘post’ area of their class teams folder for each subject for additional details about any changes to remote learning in the first few weeks of January. As you can see from the screen shot below each class has a specific folder. This can be seen on the left-hand side of the screen shot below. One of the heading at the top of the page is ‘posts’ and then within this should be announcements from class teachers.
Year 7 – Remote Learning Overviews – Term 3
Individual Subject Information
Please find below the subject specific information confirming what is planned to be covered each week in class this term. If a student is self-
isolating, they should scroll down and complete the relevant work for each subject for that week. If you wish to look at the long term plans for
each subject then please have a look at our website via the following link: https://www.neneparkacademy.org/curriculum-maps/
Students have all been assigned to specific class teams. This is the quickest way to ask questions about work or confirm how work should be
handed in. We have also added staff contacts for each subject if you wish to contact subject staff directly.
Live Lessons v set work
Live lessons will be prioritised for exam year groups and only lower down the school where possible. All other students will be given set work
to complete independently.
Contact with students who are self-isolating
House teams will be in contact with students on a regular basis and a review will be completed on a weekly basis to ensure that the student is
completing all work and provide any additional support where needed.
Further Questions
If you wish to ask any further questions, then please contact the House teams who will be happy to help.
Kind Regards
Miss Petersen
Vice Principal
