This week’s work is focusing on comprehension and SPAG

skills.

Writing Task –

Suggested Reading – The Duel World of Anders Arnfield

- Walk the Plank

Use the success criteria and vocabulary banks in the additional

resources to plan your story with the following:

• An introduction – describe characters (usually good and bad) and

setting

• A build up

• The main event – including a rescue or fight scene, use your

character speech skills from last week!

• The resolution – how things return to normal / change for better or

worse

This is the story mountain we use in class.

EXT: choose a different colour pen and edit / improve your work.

• The Ending – sum up what happens to all the main characters
