Visual Art Watch the story ‘A Year on my Farm’ by Penny Matthews and Andrew McLean https://youtu.be/co9MyotFn4c Look at artworks by Australian artist Lloyd Rees (Google). He liked to sketch and paint showing the seasons. Draw or paint your house using watercolour pencils or paints to show Autumn.

Science Students need to look at a baby photo of themselves and draw their baby face. Labelling features such as no hair, no teeth, little nose etc. Then looking in a mirror draw how they look now focussing on features such as eye colour, freckles, hair colour, nose shape etc. If students have access to their birth information such as length, weight they can record it on the back of the then photo. Students can measure their height and record it on the back of the now photo.

Music Choose an activity from the ‘Moving’ column on the attached grid. Complete the questions.

History Answer the following questions about the photos from last week’s activity. Write your answer in sentences using capital letters and full stops. - What differences do you notice between the two family portraits? - What is the same about the two family portraits? - How do we know which photos show life in the present and which ones show life in the past? - Why do you think old photos are in black and white, and not in colour?
