The Arius YDP-143 brings together the long heritage of Yamaha acoustic pianos with the

latest digital technology. Its rich authentic sound and responsive feel capture the essence of

playing one of the world's finest grand pianos, the Yamaha CFIIIS.

The YDP-143's Pure CF sound engine delivers a dynamic, expressive tonal quality,

including Damper Resonance for incredible realism. Yamaha's Graded Hammer

Standard keyboard simulates the feel of an acoustic piano with the precisely weighted

action becoming lighter at the higher end of the keyboard.

The compact design and digital technology of the Yamaha YDP-143 enable it to be used in

locations which are unsuitable for an acoustic piano. The Stereophonic Optimizer

creates a more realistic listening experience when using headphones. The YDP-143 also has

a range of features which enhance the playing experience. Digital reverb simulates the

ambience of diferent performance locations in your own home and, in addition to grand

piano, a selection of other voices are available. The Dual function allows you to play two

voices together, while Duo mode creates two identical keyboard zones, which is ideal for

teacher/student use.

For practice, there's a built-in metronome and you can record and playback your

performance using the two track recorder.

The YDP-143 can be connected via USB to a computer or to an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch

where a variety of Apps are available including Digital Piano Controller which gives you

easy access to various functions. You can even connect wirelessly with the UD-BT01

Bluetooth adaptor.

The YDP-143 is available in three color variations: Black, Rosewood and White finish.
