Eminent Personality Visit to Campus

Over the years, numerous eminent personalities

have visited the campus promoting creativity and

personality development among students. Since Yashoda

Technical Campus as a prominent institute believes in

imparting quality education with exposure, our students

often get a chance to interact with personalities of great

demeanor. People from different spheres of life have come

to share their vast knowledge and experiences, which

directly has impacted our students' lives in some ways or

other. The Chief Minister of Goa State Hon. Dr. Pramod Sawant, recently visited our campus. As a part of interactive session he addressed that 'Youngsters have several questions on their mind which may not get answered every time'. Teachers, Students, and staff member of the Yashoda family bestowed with extreme guidance and teachings of these personalities, who by visiting the campus have undoubtedly enriched our path of learning and achieving success.

Students Orientation

Two Days Induction Program for Newly Admitted Students, Academic Year 2019-20 Admission process for MBA Program, academic year 2019-20 in Maharashtra state lasted

till mid of September month. The academic activities of the institute commenced after the admission

process. Faculty of MBA organized Two days Induction program under the theme of 'Corporate

Expectations from Young Budding Managers' wherein experts from various elds delivered quality

thoughts to the budding managers. The very rst session was delivered by Mr. Randhirsinh Mohite

(HOD, MBA) on 'Primary course structure of MBA course. Students became familiar about the course

structure, Evaluation scheme, Examination pattern, internal evaluation and Marking scheme and the

delivery of the course. He also addressed about the Program Outcomes, Course specic outcomes, and

summer internship Program etc.

The second session of rst half was delivered by Mrs. Seema Chinchkar on the topic of 'Soft

Skills You Need to Know in Corporate World'. She addressed student on how soft skills are important with

the view point of career in corporate world how to inculcate them during the MBA program, and how they

help to make distinct human being.

Mr. Popat Patil conducted third session on Goal Setting: Life tools for Students. He engaged session with

full of students involvement in goal setting, he made students familiar with how setting of goal is

important for shaping the student life to reach the destination.

At the end of the day the last session was of Management games, conducted effectively by Ms. Pooja

Patil. The session was to encourage the students to work in the group, to enhance their team playing

abilities and to develop the leadership among the students it plays the important role.

The second day of induction program was full of Information. Mr. Tushar Shende (TPO, YTC) made

students familier with the Industry expectations from MBA Aspirants. In his session 'You are the Change!

-Be Real' he motivate the students to be real in what they are. The SWOT analysis was done to

indoctrinate the student's expertise with the way of their approach to change.

At the end the students of MBA program was made familiar with physical infrastructure of

Yashoda Technical Campus. Mr. Makarand Landge with all the students visited all the common

amenities. Visit to the central library, e-library, Journal section, Reading hall, administrative ofce,

Training and placement ofce, canteen, Playground, Gymkhana, Gymnasium are some of them.

Students were in need of the orientation program to be familiar with the program, courses and the

infrastructure with overall facilities.

Faculty of MBA, Welcome Function (Fresher's Fiesta) 2019-20

The inaugural function of students' began with inviting the dignitaries on the dais. The dignitaries

included the Chief Guest Dr. Mrs. Meera Dixit, Guest of Hon. Mr. Ramesh Dixit and, Prof. Dashrath Sagare

(President, YSPM's YTC), Dr. V.K. Redasani (Director, YSPM's YTC), Mr. A.V.Kanase (Registrar, YSPM's

YTC), Mr. Tushar Shende (TPO, YSPM's YTC) Mr. R. D.Mohite (HOD, Faculty of MBA) and all the respected

faculty members of Faculty of MBA.

Miss. Dhanashree Lokhande, MBA-II gave a brief welcome speech after which there was oral welcome to

the dignitaries on the dais. Miss. Nupur Sukate, Introduced Chief Guest. After the welcome speech, Chief

Guest Dr. Mrs. Meera Dixit guided students as how to develop positive attitude in personality of MBA

students. Guest of Hon. Mr. Ramesh Dixit guided students as how to prepare to face the challenges emerging

in business eld. Mr. R. D. Mohite, HOD-MBA brieng about the MBA department also presented a brief report

of the performance of the MBA students and welcome the new comers of Yashoda Technical Campus.

The Meritorious Student Award:

Mr. Vishwajeet Baravkar stood as 1st rank and Miss. Shweta Shinde stud 2nd rank in MBA I in academic year

2018-2019. They honored at the hands of chief guests.

The Academic achievement Award:

Miss. Nupur Sukate awarded with best performance in academics, co curricular activities, extra-curricular

activities and also good performance in Project Internship. She was being honored with a Surprise gift.

Mr. and Miss. Fresher's of the Year 2019-20:Mr. Akshay Vyawhare and Miss. Neelam Ghorpade awarded as Mr. and Miss Fresher's of the year. Miss. Shamali Mane of MBA-II proposed vote of thanks. Excellent comparing was done by Miss. Nupur Sukate and Mr. Akshay K anase.

Gratia to Teachers - A Role play event

As a tradition Teachers day is celebrated on 5th September every year. This year students of MBA

department celebrated Teachers Day as a 'Gratia to Teachers- A Role Play Event' on rst October 2019. The

purpose was to inculcate various managerial skills among the students of Faculty of MBA.

Senior batch's MBA students decided to celebrate the day by role play of teacher in MBA- I Class.

They prepared independent class schedule of that day, where they kept 30 minutes lecture and have been

selected subjects and topics to conduct lectures from changed syllabus of this year 2019. Everything was as

per schedule and very carefully and disciplinary executed. All juniors enjoyed, attended sincerely and

appreciated their lectures. Thus the role play activity completed with enthusiasm.

In post lunch session formal function was organized where allowed all participants to share their

teaching experience. They were felicitating at the hands of Chief Guest. Formal programme was well

organized with agenda where welcome of guest and lightening of lamp by dignitaries of dice. Head of the

department Prof. R.D. Mohite felicitate chief gust of function Dr. Mrs. R.P. Kulkarni, Principal of Engineering

,Yashoda Technical Campus. Inaugural speech was delivered by event student coordinator. MBA-II year

students as role play participants shared their teaching experience. Also MBA I year students shared their

views about teachers day and role play activity. Chief Guest Dr. Mrs. R. P. Kulkarni enlightened and guided

to develop personality through these activities and also appreciate the efforts of students during her speech.

Head of the Department Prof. R. D. Mohite guided students on this occasion and congratulated the role play

participants. Dr. R.R.Chavan also appreciated the efforts of organizing team and participants of role play

activity. Thus, the two purposes served through this celebration as teacher day and Role play activity.

Students learnt to organize the events independently. It shows team spirit and cooperation with each other

and platform to build bond between MBA-I and MBA-II. This event was successfully organized by MBA II

year students under the guidance of members of faculty and non teaching staff of YTC.

Expert Lecture

Expert Lecture on 'Generation of Entrepreneurial Ideas'

In the expert faculty session, Mr. Chetan Chavan, Entrepreneur of Ideal Dry Syste, Satara delivered an informative

session on Generation of Entrepreneurial Idea. In his session he elaborated how entrepreneurship is importance in

today's changing business environment. The mentioned some of the key points in his session - Growth of

Entrepreneurship, Creation of job opportunities, Innovation, Impact on community development, The consequence

of business failure, Political and economic integration of outsiders, Spawns entrepreneurship, Enhances the

standard of living and Promotes research and development.

He also stated that Entrepreneurs are not borne situation make them Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurs have to

function as planning, organizing, leading, controlling, and directing. Entrepreneurs are Head of Various

departments, Entrepreneurs should work for the upliftment of society and Budding managers should create mission

and vision of life for their self-development

Mr. Chetan Chavan Warmaly welcomed at the start of the session. Mr. Randhirsinh Mohite, Mr. Tushar Shende and

Mr. Makarand Landage were present on the occasion. Ms. Dhanashree Lokhande (MBA-II) played role of

Management Day Celebration

YSPMs Yashoda Technical Campus, Faculty of MBA celebrated management day. The theme for

this year was 'Recent Trends in Functional Areas of Management'. The poster Makinf and Presentation competition

was organized for the students of Faculty of MBA. The inaugural function of Management Day began with the

inviting the dignitaries on the dais. The dignitaries included the Chief Guest Mr. Sandip Sutar (Chartered

Accountant), Mr. R.D. Mohite (HOD, Faculty of MBA) and all the respected faculty members of Faculty of MBA.

The function was inaugurated with Saraswati Poojan and Lightening of Lamp to make the occasion auspicious.

Chief Guest Mr. Sandip Sutar (Chartered Accountant) guided students on Entrepreneurship Development. Mr. R. D.

Mohite (HOD, Faculty of MBA) appreciate students for the Participation in Poster Making and Presentation

Competition held on the occasion of Management Day. He also motivates the students to participate in various

competitions and improve their interpersonal skills. The honorable judges evaluated and discussed with the

students on the topic of Poster Presentations. Prof. Shinde, Prof. Mane, Prof. Nalawade and Prof. Bodas worked as

judges of the event.

Miss. Nupur Rajendra Sukate from MBA – II and Miss. Gauri Rajendra Chikane from MBA – I. won

the Title of Winner of Poster Presentation Competition.

Functions

Hindi Diwas Celebration

Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on 14th September to pay tribute to the National language of India as

Hindi was adopted as the ofcial language of Constituent assembly on September 14, 1949. The

Constitution of India adopted Hindi in Devanagri Script as the ofcial language of the union under Article

(343) in 1950.

The Faculty members and Students of Faculty of MBA, celebrated Hindi Diwas in the Yashoda Technical

Campus, as a mark of acknowledgment of HINDI as the National Language.

The celebrations began with the Address by Mr. Randhirsinh D. Mohite (Faculty of MBA). Later he read

poem by Harivanshrai Bachhan, 'Yanha Sab Kuch Bikta Hai,; There was a poem reading competition

organized for the student wherein more than 40 students participated and read therir poems. Prof. N. V.

Deshmukh and Prof. S. M. Khandarkar was invitedas honorable judges for the event. Ms. Jadhav Sonali

Mansing (MBA-II), Sanade Ravina Mahamad (MBA-I), Ms. Chikane Gauri Rajendra (MBA-I) won Winner

and Runner up prizes.

The day was celebrated with yet another way, by speaking Hindi as a Language of Communication for

whole the day.

Industrial Recruitment Awareness Program

The Faculty of MBA organized Industrial recruitment Awareness Program for the MBA Aspirants.

In this program Mr. Chetan Suryawanshi, Operational Executive of NEEM guided MBA students. The

Central government is aware of the enormity of the challenge and has therefore launched a program through

AICTE. The objective is to develop a competent workforce which could take the country ahead in the

industrial world. World popular concept of “On the job practical training” is the basis of this program targeting

enhancement of employability among individuals who are pursuing graduation or have discontinued or

completed graduation in any technical or non-technical eld.

Fresher's day Function

“Fresher's day” in any college is an event which every student eagerly awaits from their thtime of admission. The 28 of September 2019 was as a memorable day in the life of every fresher of B.

Tech batch 2019-20 at Yashoda Technical campus. The fresher's day was lled with excitement, joy,

music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness. The dress code for the fresher's day was “dress your

best”.

The celebration started at sharp 11.30 am at the Seminar Hall(B-333), Electrical

Department, YTC, Satara. by our anchors Ms. Priyanka Nanaware and Ms. Aishwarya Patil with the

warm welcome of all the dignitaries and the jury present in the function. This was followed by the

Saraswati pooja and lamp lightening by the Dignitaries. Followed by this the welcome speech was

given by Prof. Bhokare U. M(HOD CSE Dept.) and the fresher were formally welcomed into the YTC

Family, the jury and guest of honor was also introduced. Events started with Dance performances by

some of the best dancers of second year. After this all freshers came up with their unique ramp walk in

pairs. They introduced themselves one by one in the allotted time which was 1 min per pair. All of them

were impressive in their own way. Later on the Fun team lead by Akshaykumar Chavan and Rasika

Ghadge took on the stage in their funny way of attracting the audience towards them and adding

cherry to the pie.

After this, the fresher's came up on the stage with their hidden talent and performed one

by one. After all games results were declared. The winners of Mr. and Ms. Fresher were Shreyas

Parkhi and Sakshi Patil, respectively. Gifts for Mr. and Mrs. Fresher were given by the jury to the

respective students. Finally, the vote of thanks was given by Ms. Priyanka Nanavare. The entire event

was covered by the Saif Saikh and his team with their excellent photography skills.

Events

Business Startup Fest

On the behalf of Engineers day CSE department under CISCO organized the Intra College level

technical event “Business Startup Fest”. “Business Startup Fest “was YTCs' technical event to create

synergies and to put the satara's best entrepreneurs under the spotlight. In this event participants had to th present your project or business ideas. The Event was took place in the college premises on 18 September

2019 in the presence of Prof. Mohite R. D, Principal, Yashoda College of MBA., Satara., Prof. Bhosale V. U,

Assistant professor, Yashoda College of MCA., Satara., Prof. Pawashe A. M, Assistant professor, Yashoda thCollege of Engineering., Satara.and teaching staff of CSE Department.on 18 September 2019. The event

was led and executed successfully under the guidance of Prof. Bhokare U. M.

The Event was a part of one of the various technical and social events organized under CISCO

every year since its inception in 2011. Such technical events are organized every year with the objective to

provide platform for the students to showcase their talent with a competitive spirit. The event was successful enough to attract as many as 12 team of registrations for a one day event. "Business Start up Fest" a technical event where the students would participate as a team. The event consisted of three rounds viz. The Presentation Round, Logo Designing Round and the Questions and Answers Round. In Presentation round all teams were shared their ideas by using poster, ppts or models. 10 minutes was given to each team to present their ideas. Total 4 teams were selected from this round who would further compete in the logo designing round where, all teams had to design logo for their company or product. In this round all teams had to presented meaning and signicance of tools, shades, colours used in logo. Three teams made to the nal Round where the participants were given 60 seconds to rapidly answer a series of questions which decided the winning two teams of the event. The winners were encouraged with medals. The participants were also given certicates as a token of encouragement.

She has 16years of experience in the eld Programming Languages such as C, C++, .NET, Operating System, Machine Learning, etc. as a Asst. Professor.Major Points discussed in Lecture:

1. Basics of Machine Learning Techniques and Algorithms.2. About K-Fold Cross Validation, Linear Regression.3. Simple Machine Learning Practicals using Python.4. Concept of KNN, SVM, Instance based Learning, Classication, Confusion Matrix, ML Libraries, etc.

The Resource person interacted with students. They were also given an insight into the techniques used to improve basic logic behind subject and how to use the various algorithms and techniques in Machine Learning.

September and 1 October 2019. The chief guest was Dr. M.D. Bhosale, principal of MCA dept. Students of

MCA department was participated in various events. The inauguration was done by the President of YSPM st

Hon. Prof. D.B.Sagare sir and exhibition was held on 1 October 2019.

Expert Lecture

GPAT Lecture Series Organised at YSPM YTC Faculty of Pharmacy

GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). GPAT cell plan expert lecture series which is carry out throughout academic year by college faculty members. As per the academic planner in the month of August and September total Nine expert lectures organized which was delivered by subject experts Mr. S.H. Rohane, Mrs. Y.V. Dalvi, Mrs. Dipti S. Waghmare, Mr. Rohit K. Pawar, Mr. Avinash M. Bhagwat, Mrs. P.K. Ghadage, Mrs. P.C. Sangar, Mrs. R.P. Devale and V.S. Mohite on topic Orientation, Biopharmaceutic, Solid Dosage form, Physical Pharmacy and P'Analysis, Anticancer, Biochemistry and Microbiology respectively. The lectures focused to remove inadequacy about GPAT exam, some Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic aspect such as absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion. It also focused on aspect of Physical pharmacy and solid dosage form along with some instrumental knowledge such as Spectrophotometer. The lecture also focused on to resolve conceptual understanding about P'cology, Cosmetics, Biochemistry and Microbiology. Nimbalkar, Dr. VVPF's College of Pharmacy, Ahmadnagar and gave welcome speech. Introduction of

guest was given by Asst. Prof. Ms. P. K. Ghadage.

In the session, Prof. Mr. Vikram Nimbalkar highlighted on techniques of Cellular and

Molecular pharmacology. He explained the basic concepts of Cell culture. The session was very

interactive. Total 13 students were present for lecture. Students gave good response and asked queries to
