Nicht nur, dass mit diesem Jahr eine neue Dekade an-brach, auch feiert das Bremer Unternehmen Drett-mann in diesem Jahr sein 40jähriges Firmenjubilä-

um, welches z.B. schon auf der ‘boot 2010’ in Düsseldorf mit den Kunden und Gästen des Hauses zelebriert wurde. Als besonderes Schmankerl zum 40jährigen Jubiläum wurde den Interessenten hier während der Messetage beim Kauf einer hauseigenen Gebraucht- oder Vorführyacht ein spektakulä-rer Sondernachlass gewährt. Und es kam wie es kommen musste – all diejenigen, die schon mit einer der Yachten ge-liebäugelt hatten, konnten sich während der Messetage ihren Traum erfüllen.Was bringt uns diese neue Dekade noch in diesem Jahr, wo-rauf können Sie sich noch einstellen? Alle Vorbereitungen laufen auf Hochtouren, damit diese Saison für unsere Kun-den wieder zu einer wunderschönen Zeit mit vielen erhol-samen Stunden an Bord Ihrer Yachten wird. Aber auch für neue Kunden steht einiges auf dem Programm. So bestreiten wir Ende April wieder die Messe in Palma de Mallorca, auf der wir wieder mit einigen Yachten vertreten sind und an den 9 Messetagen von 10:00h bis 20:00h für Sie unsere High-lights zeigen werden. Wie an all den anderen Tagen im Jahr, so haben Sie auch während der Messetage die Möglichkeit, auch die Yachten zu besichtigen, die nicht auf der Messe ausgestellt sind, da sie zum einen zu groß sind, wie z.B. die Premier 135 oder die Bandido 90, oder aber weil wir nicht so viele Liegeplätze auf der Messe bekommen, um alle unsere Yachten zu zeigen.Viele von Ihnen haben schon von unserem Sommerevent im letzten Jahr gehört oder es sogar besucht und sich während der Sommermonate unsere Yachten angeschaut. Auch in diesem Jahr werden wir wieder während der schönsten Tage des Jahres jeden Abend mindestens eine Yacht für Sie im Yachthafen von Puerto Portals geöffnet haben, die Sie sich bis in die späten Abendstunden anschauen können und mit der Sie auch an einer Probefahrt teilnehmen können. Nach dem positivem Feedback Ihrerseits und den vielen Besu-chern haben wir uns dazu entschlossen, diesen Sommere-vent wieder zu veranstalten und Ihnen somit die Möglichkeit zu geben, auch außerhalb der Büroöffnungszeiten unsere Yachten in Puerto Portals anzuschauen.Und was das zweite Halbjahr 2010 so mit sich bringt, wer-den wir in der kommenden Ausgabe berichten. So wünsche ich Ihnen viel Vergnügen beim Lesen unseres neu gestalteten Magazins und einen schönen Saisonstart mit Ihrer Yacht.

Not only a new decade has just begun, but the com-pany Drettmann in Bremen also celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and festivities were alrea-

dy held at the ‚boot 2010‘ in Düsseldorf together with the company‘s clients and guests. As a specialty occasioned by this 40th anniversary interested clients were offered a spec-tacular discount on all pre-owned and demonstration yachts belonging to the company for the purchases during the boat show. And it happened as it should – all those who fell in love with one of these yachts before the show were able to fulfil their dream on this occasion.What will this new decade bring us later this year; what else can you expect? All preparations are in full swing in order to guarantee our clients a wonderful time and some quiet hours on board of their yachts. But also for new clients we have an interesting schedule. At the end of April we will again par-ticipate at the Palma boat show, where we will exhibit our yachts and present our highlights during 9 days from 10:00 till 20:00 to you. Like every day of the year, you will also be able to visit our yachts which will not be displayed at the boat show – firstly because they are too large e.g. such as the Premier 135 or the Bandido 90, or just because we couldn‘t get enough berths to display all our yachts.Many of you have already heard of our summer event last year or have even viewed our yachts on this occasion. This year we will again give you the chance to view at least one of our yachts until the late evening hours during the most beautiful time of the year at the marina of Puerto Portals, or if you like you can also join us for a sea trial. Due to your po-sitive feedback and the large number of visitors, we decided to organize this summer event again in order to give you the opportunity to view our yachts based in Puerto Portals apart from the regular office hours.In the next issue we will report on what you can expect from the second half of this year. I wish you will enjoy leafing through our new redesigned magazine and wish you a plea-sant start into the season on board of your yacht.

boot 2010 Düsseldorf | Eine Messe der Superlative

Die diesjährige ‚boot‘ in Düsseldorf fand verhältnismäßig spät statt und so konnten wir noch ein paar schöne Januartage auf Mallorca genießen, bevor wir das erste Großereignis des Jahres angingen. Der auch in diesem Jahr imposante Drettmann-Group-Stand hatte wieder einmal sechs beeindruckende Yachten für Gäste und Kunden zu bieten. In diesem Jahr waren folgende Yachten auf dem Stand zu besich-tigen:Elegance 60Elegance 60 OpenElegance 68 New – WeltpremiereElegance 85Elegance 122 RPH – Größte Yacht, die auf der ‚boot‘ gezeigt wurdeBandido 66 – WeltpremiereWie jedes Jahr waren die logistischen Leis-tungen von allen wieder bemerkenswert. Die Yachten mussten über den Rhein auf Pontons und dann auf mehrachsigen Tief-ladern zur Halle und dann in die Halle ge-bracht werden. Jedes Mal scheint es eine schier unmögliche Aufgabe zu sein, zumal diese Yachten dann auch nach der Messe auf demselben Weg an ihren Bestimmungs-ort zu bringen sind.Während der 9 Messetage auf der ‚boot‘

wurde unseren Kunden und Gästen ein umfassendes Programm geboten. So hatte man die Möglichkeit, sich im FCPOY- Be-reich (First Class Pre-Owned Yachts) von dem Gebrauchtyachtangebot einen Über-blick zu verschaffen und hier und da ein optimales Angebot zu nutzen. Für die In-teressierten der ausgestellten Yachten stand ein internationales und kompetentes Team bereit, um die Yachten zu zeigen. So waren wieder unsere Kollegen aus Deutschland, Frankreich, Russland, Rumänien, Finnland, den Niederlanden und Kroatien anwesend und konnten Sie, soweit möglich, auch in Ihrer Landessprache ansprechen und Ih-nen die Yachten präsentieren. Aber auch im Hintergrund arbeiteten die Damen vom Empfang und vom Backoffice für einen rei-bungslosen Ablauf während der Messetage. So konnten Kunden Termine mit Verkäu-fern vereinbaren, sich vom Shuttleservice im Hotel abholen lassen oder aber Unter-lagen und Dokumente direkt nach Hause schicken lassen. Das komplette Rund-um-sorglos-Paket für den Messebesuch war gut geschnürt, nicht zuletzt durch den Ca-teringservice, der auf dem Messestand für das leibliche Wohl der Gäste und Besucher sorgte.

Viele kannten es schon vom letzten Jahr, und so war auch dieses Mal nach der Mes-se nicht Feierabend für uns angesagt, son-dern es waren wieder einige Events auf dem Messestand vorgesehen. So gab es einen Event mit dem Bankhaus Sal. Oppenheim, einen mit dem Bentley Club Deutschland und zu guter Letzt einen Audi Event. Grund des Audi-Events war die Präsentation des neuen A8 und des Audi R8 5.2 Spyder für

500 ausgewählte Gäste von Audi. Durch das Programm führte Kai Pflaume und ne-ben verschiedenen Prominenten war auch eine Modenschau mit dem deutschen Top-model Eva Padberg zu sehen. Die Firma Audi war auch Partner des Shuttle-Servi-ces, der unsere Kunden von und zum Ho-tel brachte und so für einen reibungslosen Messebesuch sorgte.

This year‘s ‚boot‘ at Düsseldorf took place relatively late so that we got the chance to enjoy some pleasant

days in January here on Majorca before leaving for the first big event of the year. The again imposing display zone of the Drettmann Group presented six impressive yachts to visitors and clients. This year the following yachts could be viewed on the exhibition stand:Elegance 60Elegance 60 OpenElegance 68 New – World PremiereElegance 85Elegance 122 RPH – Largest yacht presen-ted at the ‚boot‘Bandido 66 – World Premiere

Like every year the logistical handling per-formed by everybody was remarkable. The yachts needed to be transported on pontoons on the Rhein and afterwards on multiaxial low-loading vehicles to the ex-hibition and then into the hall. Every time, this seems to be an impossible assignment, especially since the yachts have to be trans-ported back to their destination.During the 9 days of the show a full pro-gramme was presented to clients and vi-sitors. So they had the opportunity to get an overview of our pre-owned yachts in the FCPOY section (First Class Pre-Owned Yachts) and to take advantage of the one or the other perfect offer. A competent in-ternational team was ready to present the

exhibited yachts to interested people. So once again our colleagues from Germa-ny, France, Russia, Romania, Finland, the Netherlands and Croatia came together and whenever it was possible, they were ready to address you in your native language and to present to you the exhibited yachts. The ladies from the back office and the recep-tion were responsible for a smooth course during the boat show. Clients were able to coordinate appointments with a sales assis-tant, arrange to be picked up at the hotel by the shuttle service or have sent papers and documents directly to their home address. The complete carefree package for the boat show visit was well prepared, not least through the catering service which guaran-teed for the guests and visitors well-being.Many knew it already from last year; we didn‘t call it day at 6 p.m., but arranged a couple of events on the exhibition stand af-ter the show. So there was the event with the bank Sal. Oppenheim, another one to-gether with the Bentley Club of Germany and finally the Audi event. The Audi event was held in order to present the new A8 and the Audi R8 5.2 Spyder to 500 selec-ted Audi guests. Kai Pflaume presented the program of the event and besides various famous people you could watch a fashion show with the German top model Eva Padberg. The company Audi was also the partner providing the shuttle service which picked up the clients at the hotel and brought them back in order to offer a good service for the boat show visitors.

Endlich ist sie da, die Bandido 66, das neue Einstiegsmodell aus unserer er-folgreichen Explorer-Baureihe. Viele,

die diesen Schritt für unmöglich hielten oder sich gefragt haben, wie so ein Vorha-ben zu verwirklichen sei, konnten sich auf der ‚boot‘ in Düsseldorf davon überzeu-gen, dass es möglich ist. Denn trotz ihrer ungewöhnlichen Maße rundet die Bandido 66 das Bandido-Portfolio perfekt ab und ist auch in sich ein gelungenes Konzept, sowohl im Design wie auch in den Pro-portionen. Und wie alle Bandido-Modelle ist auch diese Yacht sehr sparsam im Die-selverbrauch und verfügt über eine große Reichweite – halt ein richtiger Explorer.So war nicht nur die Elegance 122 RPH ein Highlight auf der ‚boot‘ in Düsseldorf, auch die Bandido 66 stand der Großen in nichts nach. Mit 20,60m Länge und einer Breite von 6,00m sind die klassischen Grundma-ße nicht unbedingt gewaltig, aber wenn man sich bei der Bandido 66 vor den enor-men Steven stellt, beeindruckt einen die Gesamthöhe von 6,85m dann doch enorm. Derzeit kann man sich einen Eindruck von der Yacht im Yachthafen von Puerto Portals machen und man wird feststellen, dass sie problemlos eine 92 Fuß Yacht in den Schat-

ten stellt durch ihr wuchtiges Auftreten. Aber genau das ist es, was der Explorer-yacht-Eigner, der Bandido-Eigner möchte – viel Raum zum Leben und dadurch ei-nen hohen Komfort, typisch für diese Art Langstreckenyacht. Denn erst die Kombi-nation aus der Grundfläche zu der enor-men Stehhöhe auf allen Ebenen lässt die Bandido 66 nicht nur von außen wuchtig erscheinen, sondern auch von innen als ein Raumwunder wirken. Wenn man die Ban-dido 66 betritt und in den Salon kommt, wird man von der Größe des Platzangebots r e g e l r e c h t üb e r wäl t i g t und bisher war jeder Besu-cher fasziniert von den Möglichkeiten, die diese Yacht bietet. Kommt man dann zu den Kabinen auf das untere Deck und nimmt z.B. in der Mastersuite Platz, so wird man die Bauform des Rumpfes einer Exploreryacht zu schät-

zen wissen. Ganz zu schweigen von der riesigen Flybridge, die die Ausmaße einer kleinen Megayacht hat.Auch bei der Bandido 66 haben wir wieder einige technische Neuerungen integriert, die beim ersten Blick zwar nicht auffallen, aber sinnvoll und praktisch zugleich sind. So hat die Bandido 66 einen um 90° klapp-baren Geräteträger, komplett versenkbare Armaturen am oberen Fahrstand und ein

Hardtop mit elektrischem Falt schiebe-dach. Aber auch im Inne-ren findet man Neuerungen, wie z.B. das neue Gara-ge nko nze p t mit querlie-gendem Ten-der und das seitlich ange-

legte Badezimmer der Mastersuite, was bei der Größe der Yachten einmalig ist. Wie nicht anders zu erwarten hat auch die 66 einen Satz Stabilisatoren von Trac, die das Reisen mit der Bandido zu einer Wohltat

machen. Ein großzügiger Crewbereich fehlt natürlich auch nicht. Hier mal eine kleine Aufzählung der nicht auf den ersten Blick sichtbaren Highlights dieser Yacht: vierter Steuerstand, Anlegebeleuchtung, Samsung Staron Auflageflächen in Küche und Bä-dern, elektrische Fußbodenheizung, u.v.m.Der Name ‚Copper Moon‘ ist nicht nur ein-fach ein Name. Jeder, der die Yacht einmal von außen und innen gesehen hat, wird den Namen der Yacht verstehen und ihn für passend erachten. Da ist der kupferfar-bene Rumpf der Yacht, welcher der Ban-dido 66 schon von außen ein einmaliges Erscheinungsbild gibt. Und beim Betreten der Yacht wird man von der stilistischen, in sich harmonischen Farbkombination ge-fesselt. Hier sind helle und dunkle Erdtöne kombiniert mit einem Hauch von Kupfer, und dieses Farbspiel zieht sich durch alle Räumlichkeiten der Yacht und rundet das einheitliche Konzept der Bandido 66 per-fekt ab.

Wie kann man schlussendlich die 66 be-schreiben, damit Sie einen Eindruck von ihr bekommen? Wie können wir unsere ‚Cooper Moon‘ in Worte fassen, damit Sie sich ein Bild machen können? Wir haben es hier versucht, vielleicht ist es uns auch irgendwie gelungen, Ihnen ein klein wenig die Yacht näher zu bringen. Aber wir kom-men nicht drum herum, Sie hierher nach Puerto Portals einzuladen, um sich direkt vor Ort einen eigenen Eindruck von der Bandido 66 zu machen.

Finally the new entry model of our successful explorer range, the Bandi-do 66, is available. Many people who

thought it was impossible or wondered how such a project could be realized could convince themselves on the occasion of the ‚boot 2010‘ that it is possible. Besides her extraordinary measurements, the Ban-

dido 66 completes the Bandido portfolio perfectly and is also an excellent concept as far as design and proportions are con-cerned. And like all other Bandido models, this yacht also stands for economic diesel consumption and is made for long range trips – a real explorer yacht.So, not only the Elegance 122 RPH was considered a highlight at the ‚boot 2010‘ but also the Bandido 66 didn‘t fail to at-tain the attention of the visitors. With her 20,60m length and a beam of 6,00m her classical dimensions are not really extraor-dinary, but when you are standing in front of the enormous prow of the Bandido 66 you are quite impressed by the total height of 6,85m. At present you can get an impres-sion of the yacht at the marina of Puerto Portals and you will come to the conclu-sion that she can easily outshine a 92 feet yacht by her massive appearance.But this is exactly what the owner of an ex-plorer yacht, the Bandido owner wants – a

lot of space for living and as a consequence a lot of comfort – typical for this type of long range yacht. Only the combination of the bottom size and the enormous head-room on all levels makes her not only ap-pear massive from the outside but also so spacious even from the inside. When you enter the Bandido 66 and you step inside the salon you are actually overwhelmed by the provision of space and so far every vi-sitor was fascinated by the possibilities this yacht has to offer. Once you enter the ca-bins on the lower decks and you take e.g. a seat in the master suite you will appreciate the version of the hull of an explorer yacht. Not to mention the huge flybridge; which has the same proportions as one of a little mega yacht.Also with the Bandido 66 some technical innovations have been integrated which are not noticeable at first glance but are useful

and functional at the same time. Thus, the Bandido 66 has a 90° foldable hydraulic radar arch, a completely foldaway instru-ment panel on the upper helm and a hard-top with an electric foldable sliding roof. But also inside you will find some impro-vements, such as the new garage concept with the crosswise tender and the head of the master suite being situated sideways which is unique for a yacht of this size. As might be expected, the 66 comes with a set of TRAC stabilizers, which guarantee for a comfortable cruise. Of course, she has also a roomy crew area. Here is a small summa-ry of the highlights of this yacht which are not visible at first sight: 4th station control, stern docking light, Samsung Staron sur-faces in the pantry and heads, electric floor heating and much more.The name ‚Copper Moon‘ is not only a name! Anyone, who has ever seen the yacht‘s exterior and interior, will under-stand what it stands for and will agree that

the name suits perfectly. There is the cop-per coloured hull which guarantees for an extraordinary exterior look of the Bandido 66. Entering the yacht, you will be fasci-nated by her stylistic harmonious com-bination of colours. Light and dark earth-coloured shades have been combined with a touch of copper – this play of colours can be found in all cabins of the yacht and per-fectly rounds off the concept of the Bandi-do 66.So how can we finally describe the 66 in order to let you gain an impression of her? How can we put ‚Copper Moon‘ in words so that you can get an idea of what she is like? Well we gave it a try and perhaps we somehow managed. But nevertheless we would like to invite you to Puerto Portals in order to let yourself get your own impressi-on of the Bandido 66.

Der Drettmann Group ‚Refit-Ser-vice‘ macht auch vor großen Yachten keinen Halt und soll auch

nicht unbedingt als ‚aus-alt-mach-neu‘-Ser-vice verstanden werden. Im Laufe der Jahre ändert sich der Geschmack der Kunden. Es ändert sich die Sichtweise der Yachtbauer und so auch das Design der Möbel und die Wahl der Materialien. Was in einer Woh-nung oder in einem Haus oftmals recht ein-fach von statten geht, indem man einfach neue Möbel kauft oder diese neu arrangiert und dabei lediglich durch die Außenwände etwas beschränkt ist, ist bei einer Yacht oft deutlich aufwendiger. Manche Kunden wählen die einfache Va-riante, indem sie die Yacht verkaufen und sich eine neue Yacht kaufen bzw. die alte Yacht beim Kauf einer neuen Yacht in Zah-lung geben und somit ein neues, moder-neres Design bekommen. Aber manchmal bietet es sich an, seine in die Jahre gekom-mene Yacht mit einem ‚Refit‘ wieder op-tisch auf den aktuellen Stand zu bringen. Zwar lassen sich die Möbel nicht einfach so austauschen, da sie meistens Bestandteil des festen Innenausbaus sind. Aber Polster der Sitzgelegenheiten, Bodenbeläge oder Wandverkleidungen lassen sich zum Teil

schon erneuern und modernisieren.So wurde vor kurzem auf der Elegance 105 Dynasty, die derzeit bei uns auf Mallorca zu besichtigen ist, ein komplettes ‚Refit‘ vollzogen. Im Salon wurde ein neuer Tep-pichboden verlegt, die Sitzgruppe wurde neu gepolstert, der Tisch erneuert sowie in der Dinette die Wandverkleidung erneuert

und die Stühle neu überzogen. Außerdem wurden Gardinen und Lampen sowie die Dekoration erneuert, so dass der Salon nun von einem verschnörkelten und eher klas-sischen Raum zu einer freundlichen und hellen Lounge avanciert ist. The Drettmann Group‘s ‚refit service‘ is also applicable on large yachts and should not be understood as a ‚from

old to new‘ method. Over the years the cli-ents tastes change. Yacht builders change their point of view and therefore the design for the furniture and the choice of materials adapts to new standards. What seems to be quite easy regarding a flat or a house – bu-ying new furniture or arranging the old one in a different manner with the sole limita-tion of the exterior walls – can be quite an effort regarding a yacht.Some clients opt for the easy way; they sell their yacht and buy a new one or rather give it as a trade-in when buying the new one and obtain in this way a new and more modern design. But sometimes it is worth it to give your somewhat dated yacht a new looking by a refit. It is not so easy to change

the furniture since it is generally part of the interior finish. But the upholstery, seating groups, the flooring or panelling can partly be changed and modernised.Recently the Elegance 105 Dynasty which can presently be viewed on Majorca has undergone a complete ‚refit‘. In the salon a new carpet was laid, the seating group was upholstered, the tables were displaced and in the dining area the panelling was displaced and the chairs were re-covered. Curtains and lamps as well as the decora-tion were displaced which changed the sa-lon from being an ornate style rather classi-cal room into a pleasant bright lounge. Also the cabins have undergone some moderni-sations and displacements and the yacht got an overall finish in order to be ready for the new season and its future owner.Did we arouse your interest and would you like to have a closer look at this yacht?
