Introduction of Y-12F(AIRCAR)

The Harbin Y-12F, also called Aircar, is a high wing, twin-engine turboprop utility aircraft

built by Harbin Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation, as the latest type of Y-12 serials.

Y-12F is a new turboprop aircraft designed and developed for general aviation/regional

use. It can accommodate 19 passengers and cargo in bulk or carry cargo in three LD3

containers. With slight modification, it can be used for such a long duration operation as

VIP, maritime surveillance, aerial photography, remote sensing and geological prospecting.

It can be also applied in military operation such as transportation of soldiers and

supplies, parachute jumping and airdropping.
