"Above all, clothe yourselves with love,

which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful. 

Let the word of Christ dwell  in you richly; teach and

admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in

your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs

 to God." Colossians 3:14-16 NRSV

Let’s think about the ways grace finds us in autumn. The leaves are changing. Their brilliant colours shout the wonder of God. The taste of autumn fruits remind us of seeds planted and harvests gathered. God’s faithfulness. Sunrises and sunsets keep our hope alive. These are the blessings of Autumn. And we are grateful.

Prayer: With gratitude in our hearts, we give thanks. For reminders of how we come close to You and You come close to us, we say thank you. For the ways we live in relationship in our community of faith, and in the multi- cultured world around us, we say thank you. For the ways You invite us deeper in Love, we say thank you.

You are always giving us more grace, more love, more joy, more peace, more abundant life. And we are grateful. Hear now our prayers for those we love and hold in our hearts …  Amen.
