Overview
2
• This document was created in an effort to streamline the designreview and approval cycle for all in-building designs, by equippingall vendors and partners with the T-Mobile evaluation criteria beingused in the review.
• This is a rubric, of sorts, so that whomever is working on an in-building design for T-Mobile will have a clearly defined, easy toread, list of requirements that T-Mobile expects to see included.
• There are two parts to this document, the RF Performance criteriathat the system is expected to deliver, and a set of iBwave designfile requirements that T-Mobile expects to be included.

4
Property Criteria
Number of Transmitters to include above and below
For any multi-story building, must be greater than zero; for catwalk antenna high above the floor, must be large enough so prediction
of seating area includes those RF transmitters.
Power Sharingvalues Enabled & Includes correct allocation perband/technology
LTE – Body Loss, Fast Fade Margin,Cell Loading 3dB, 3dB, 100%
UMTS – Body Loss, Fast Fade Margin,Cell Loading 3dB, 3dB, 65%
RSRP Threshold, RSRP Margin -135 dBm, 5 dB
Prediction Resolution 2.3 ft
Prediction Height 4.9 ft

iBwave– Powersharing

Power sharing need to be defined for the bands /technologieswhere T-Mobile bands being provided in the DASapplication
In situation where UMTS/LTE share the same band example inAWS band, T-Mobile operates on 20 MHz for LTE2100 MHz and5 MHz UMTS 2100 MHz we ask to assign 80% for LTEtechnologyand 20% for UMTS of total T-Mobile dedicated remote powershare
Consult ACS RF Engineer for the same band power sharing percentages if necessary
