XXV OPEN INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT „OPEN BALTIC“- DIRECTIVES

The Traditional International Competitions “Open Baltic” has been held since 1992. Since 1995 they

are held in the memory of well-known Teacher of Republic of Lithuania, Freeman of Visaginas – Tatyana Anatolyevna Semyonova. More than 5 000 athletes from 18 countries have participated in the past 24 years of Championships.

From 1978 till her death Mrs. Semyonova was the Director of Acrobatic School in Visaginas. At the same time she was the Vise-President of Lithuanian Acrobatics Federation with the office at Visaginas Acrobatics School (Visaginas sports center).

Her great working efficiency, insistence, kindness and impartiality allowed her to create strong-knit and efficient collective, who has reached very high scores in sport. Visaginas Acrobatic Sport School is the only one in Lithuania. (At this moment it is Visaginas sports center).

The honor and respect of our sportsmen in Visaginas, in Lithuania and abroad have been gained thanks to real deserts of admirable person Mrs. T.Semyonova whose memory will always live in our hearts.

Visaginas is a very clean and green city. There are playgrounds, stadiums, grasslands, pines and waters

stretching all around the city. Forests are full of mushrooms and berries, lakes are rich in fish. Local people are very sporty, artistic and well educated as Visaginas has everything what is important for modern up to date life. Local people are very interested in sports. The most popular is tumbling, trampolining and acrobatics. Visaginas is also famous for its annual country music festival “Visaginas country”. The festival attracts country music lovers from all over Lithuania and foreign countries. Visaginas resembles a little paradise in Lithuania.

III. PARTICIPANTS AND COMPETITION SCHEDULE

5. The trampoline and tumbling competition is open to athletes and teams of children sports schools, Olympic reserve junior/youth sports schools, sports clubs, teams of cities, teams of sports centers, and national teams of foreign states.

6. Competitions are held in three age groups between male and female athletes:

Athletes who do not comply International program are assessed taking into account the bit coefficient:

IV. TRAMPOLINING

7. Trampoline competitions are held according to international rules (2013-2016), individual jumps only. In the preliminary competitions participants perform two exercise:

1) Mandatory – by your country; 2) Freestyle combination without difficulty restriction.

In competitions athletes allow to comply: 2 jun.level; 1 jun. level; 3 level; 2 level; 1 level; International program class B.

8. The best 8 athletes of each age group who received the greatest number of points in preliminary competitions are admitted to finals. In the finals only two athletes from one country are allowed. In the finals athletes perform one combination without difficulty restriction. The sum of the results’ score received in both preliminary and final exercises determines winners of places 1 through 8. The participants who did not reach the finals, are given places according to score of preliminary competitions.

V. TUMBLING

9. In tumbling preliminary competitions athletes perform 2 exercises: by the International rules AGE of group among male and female athletes. In competitions athletes allow to comply: 2 jun.level; 1 jun. level; 3 level; 2 level; 1 level; International program.

10. The finals admit 8 best athletes who received the greatest number of points in preliminary competitions. Two exercises without difficulty restriction by the International rules AGE of group is performed in the finals.

11. Total amount of points received for preliminary and final exercises determines winners of places 1 through 8. Those athletes that did not make to the finals are assigned places according to results of preliminary competition.

VI. COMPETITIONS ORGANIZATION AND CONDUCTION

12. The general preparation management and the competition are carried by Lithuanian national federation of acrobatics, together with Visaginas Sports Center.

13. Direct conduction of competitions is assigned to the main board of judges approved by technical

committee of trampoline and tumbling of Republic of Lithuania.

14. Team structure: 1 representative, 2 coaches, 2 judges. There is no limited number of competition participants.

VII. WINNER AWARDS

15. Winners and awardees of trampoline and tumbling competitions are awarded by prizes, medals, diplomas of the corresponding degrees, in each age group.

16. Athletes that took places 4 through 8 are awarded by charters. The coach of the champion is awarded

a special charter.

VIII. FINANCIAL EXPENSES AND CONDITIONS OF RECEPTION

17. Awards to winner, awardees, finalists, winners’ coaches, as well as souvenirs, payment of Lithuanian Republic judges - are the expenses of Visaginas Sports Center.

18. Competition entry fee is € 10 from each sportsman, and is to be deposited to the Visaginas Sports

Center bank account.

19. Expenses associated with travel, accommodations, catering, medical insurance of non-residents and foreign athletes, judges, trainers, representatives are to be covered by the sending organizations.

20. Stationery, printing expenses, gym and other rooms are provided at the expense of the Visaginas

sports center.

21. Invitation call is at the expense of the sending organization

22. Accommodations is at the expense of the sending organization

24. Definitive entry applications are submitted on day of arrival directly to the main board of judges.

25. For visa application all members of your delegate team must provide the following personal

information before April 20th, 2016:

Photocopy of traveling ID/international passport; Home address; Birthplace; Nationality.
