“Learning the times tables is a basic essential for mathematics and children should master this by the end of ks2. Without a good

foundation in maths, it is difficult for children to be able to fully and accurately learn other parts of mathematics.”

It is essential that children know their times tables and are regularly given time to rehearse these skills. These activities have been created for you (the teacher) to use as you would like. They could be printed and used as booklet or printed individually and laminated for multiple

use. I hope this resource helps you and that the children enjoy challenging themselves.

In many schools, new digital technology is fast becoming a way of life and part of everyday classroom activity. This is the case for

both teachers and pupils. It is essential that this is taken on board to prepare pupils for the workplace of the future. Baring that in mind I have also researched suitable apps for rehearsing
