    Previously...

A small team of X-Men has been scouring the streets of Paris,

trying to help their ally Legion track down six of his fractured

personalities that have taken material form. But while theyve

managed to defeat four of the super-powered personas, the most

dangerous remains at large: Styx, a soul-stealing monster who

has captured Legions father, Professor Xavier.

The X-Men, minus the injured Rogue, track Styx to the catacombs

below Paris, where they are stopped by an army of enthralled

civilians rigged with explosives. Against his friends wishes,

Legion chooses to face Styx alone, and ultimately surrenders

his body and soul in exchange for his fathers life. And at that

moment, the rest of the X-Men suddenly nd themselves under

attack by the nal errant personality--Endgame.
