(Levels 1 – 6) Please note that these levels(mentioned for this guide) aren’t fixed. It is the estimated

levels for a given region.

Depending on your participation/non-participation in other events like Rifts, Invasions,

Warfronts etc, Your level could vary.

This guide contains the quest path to be taken for a given region.

We have color coded the Guide to quickly identify tasks.

Also note that this is a pure questing guide. When the opportunity

presents itself, please engage in other events like Rifts and

Dungeons.

Purely questing in RIFT will eventually lead to falling behind the

optimal level for quests. This makes it tough to complete quest

objectives which involve high level mobs.

[A] – Hallowed Hill [F]- Valor Hold

[B] – Thontic’s Fountain [G] – Thedeor Fields

[C] – Ardenburgh [H] – Vigilant Rise

[D] – Ardenburgh Gate [I] – Eye of Regulos

[E] – Bloodmurk Grove

As soon as you spawn into the game your very first task is to speak to the NPC - Messenger of the

Vigil – in front of you to accept you’re First Quest – “Chosen”

Head down the Stairs and Speak to Sanctuary Warden near the portal [Located at 1119 , 1396]

Speak to Sanctuary Warden and Turn in your Quest [Chosen] – ( This is where you will get to choose

your First Soul)

Accept the Quest “Ascended Allies”

Head down the Path and Speak to Fayne Doran at Hallowed Hill-[A] [Located at 1150 , 1345]

Turin in your Quest [Ascended Allies] and Accept the Next Quest “Avenging Hand”

In the Same Area (Hallowed Hill-[A]) Kill [6] Ashen Defilers

Return back to Fayne Doran and Turn in the Quest [Avenging Hand]

Accept the Next Quest “Steel Reckoning”

Speak to Orin Bancroft (Located next to Fayne Doran)

Accept the Quest “Knights of Aedraxis”

Head down the Path [at location 1241 , 1325] and Kill [6] Corrupted Knights

Also in the same region Collect [4] Imbued Swords

Head north down the path and Find Borrin Gammult [Located at 1197, 1212]

Speak to Borrin gammult and Turn in your Quest [Steel Reckoning]

Accept the Next Quest “ Unholy Shackles”

Next Talk to Shyla Starhearth and turn in the Quest [Knights of Aedraxis] – ( this is when you will

receive your Second soul)

Accept the Next Quest “Weakened Ward”

Head inside Ardenburgh -[C] region and Destroy [3] Morbid Infusers - (located around the region)

Retrieve [8] Sanctified Spheres from Ardenburgh Horrors - (you will need to kill them to retrieve the

item)

Return back to Borrin gammult and Turn in your Quest [Unholy Shackles]

Speak to Shyla Starhearth and turn in the Quest [Weakened Ward]

Next Speak to Thomas Penthas (located next Shyla Starhearth) and Accept the Quest “Mathosian

Inquisition”

Head back inside Ardenburgh-[C] and Find the Alter of Thedeor [Located at 1160, 1152]

Pray at the Altar of Thedeor

You will receive “Marthosian Shield”

Use the Marthosian Shield on [6] Deathbound Thralls [Located at 1067 , 1241 ]

Return back to Thomas Penthas and Turn in the Quest [Mathosian Inquisition]

Talk to Borrin Gammult and Accept the Quest “Uncivil War”

Head to the Ardenburgh gate -[D]and speak to Brother Jebiah [Located at 1115, 1160]

Turn in the Quest [Uncivil War] and Accept the Next Quest “Sourcestone”

Speak to Tam Daggerborne and Accept the Quest “Betrayers”

Head to Bloodmurk Grove-[E] and Kill the Following :-

Kill [4] Defiant Traitors

Kill [4] Defiant Thaumaturges

Also in the Same area Collect [3] Sourcestone Cores

Return back to Brother Jebiah and Turn in the Quest [Sourcestone]

Accept the Next Quest “Rifts between Worlds”

Speak to Tam Daggerborne and Turn in the Quest [Betrayers]

Head back to Bloodmurk Grove -[E] and Defeat [5] Defiant Construct

Purge [5] Construct Corpses using the holy Sigil (found in your backpack)

Head to the Camp at Valor Hold -[F] and speak to Cyril Kalmar [Located at 1032 , 1062]

Turn in your Quest [Rifts Between Worlds]

Accept the Quest “Brood of Regulos”

Also Accept “A Nimble Art”

Speak to Rovena Kern inside the Valor Hold -[F] and Turn in the quest [A Nimble Art]

Speak to Marshal Kain and Accept the Quest “Fields Run Red”

Head to to Thedeor Fields -[G] and Kill the Following :-

Kill [3] Deathbound Rogues

Kill [3] Deathbound Soldiers

Kill [3] Deathbound Sorcerers

Also in Thedeor Fields -[G] Place the Warding Orb of the Vigil [Located at 1120 , 989 or 930 , 1095]

After Placeing it , They will be a Spawn of Regulos that will summon on your location

Kill the Spawn Of R egolus

Return back to Valor Hold -[F] and Speak to Cyril Kalmar and Turn in your Quest [Brood of Regulos]

Accept the Next Quest “The Pariah”

Speak to Marshal Kain to Turn in your Quest [Fields Run Red]

Accept the Next Quest “Rightful Owners”

Head towards Vigilant Rise-[H] and Find the Ascendant Hall

On your Way Collect [6] Mathosian Remains from Carrior Flyers in the same area

Find And Disable Orphiel’s Corruptor [Located at 1094 , 885]

As soon as it is disabled - Kill Ethect

Next Orphiel will spawn – Chase Orphiel away from the Ascendant Hall (by causing damage on it)

Speak t o the Messenger of the Vigil and Turn in the Quest [The Pariah] – (your will get your 3rd soul

)

Return back to Marshal Kain at Valor Hold-[F] and Turn in your Quest [Rightful Owners] [Located at

1027 , 1044]

Accept the Next Quest “Shot in the Back”

Speak to Cyril Kalmar and Accept the Quest “Gathering Strength”

Head back to Thedeor Fields-[G] and Choose Any Location with a Catapult (indicated on the mini

map)

Launch a Catapult

After launching the Catapult - you will have to kill the following :-

o Kill [6] Bombard Necromancer

o Kill [2] Bombard Ettins

Head to the closest Shadetouched horse indicated on the mini map

From your backpack - Use Cyril’s bridle to Cleanse a Shadetouched Horse

Mount the Horse and return to the Stable at Valor Hold-[F]

Speak to Marshal Kain at Valor hold-[F] and Turn in your Quest [Shot in the Back]

Speak to Cyril Kalmar and Turn in your Quest [Gathering Strength]

Accept the Next Quest “A Dim , Dark Eye “

Head towards the Eye of Regulos -[I] and Disable the Rift Pillars and Reveal Aedraxis

Kill the Shade of Regulos

Shatter the body of the Shade of Regulos using the Hammer of the Vigil

You will now be teleported to Silverwoods

Speak to Messenger of the Vigil at Divine Landing to turn in your Quest [ A Dim , Dark Eye]
