Wine glass charms
Easy 5 minute craft. At parties people put their glasses down … get confused whose glass is theirs.
Cut any shape from a pretty postcard / greeting card – punch a hole and tie around the wine glass with ribbon or pipe cleaners.

New greeting card
Double-sided tape Thick khoki penOld greeting cards / postcards Thick plain paper, folded in card
Bit ironic to make a new greeting card using old greeting cards or postcards….
Draw (or let a kid draw) flowers with a thick khoki pen on greeting card / postcard. It doesn’t have to be perfect flowers. Now cut around the flower outlines (see on picture). Stick flowers onto card with small pieces of double-sided tape. Draw stems and leaves.

Paper flower
Paper fastener/brad (picture right)Flower cut-outs from postcards / greeting cards
I chose cards with more or less the same colors … after I’ve cut out the flower shapes, I cutinto the petals to make them ‘stand up’.
Scrapbook shops have lovely paper fasteners (brads), so I punched a hole in all 4 flowersand pressed the paper brad through. Use this for scrapbooking, decorating any card, etc.

Puzzle
Easy 5 minute craft.
I strongly suggest that you make a color photocopy of
the postcard / greeting card – to use as a reference.
On the back of the card, draw straight lines and cut
it.
Since my card was reallyquite busy, I had to check
the original card a few times… lots of fun for everyone!
Also perfect little gift.

Tetris Board Game
Did you play the computer version of Tetris? Use postcards / greeting cards to cut out the different shapes – make sure that you use coloured pieces (cause you can’t use the white reverse side). Here’s the template:

Paper Earrings
This was a lovely striped thick greeting card.
I cut out the shapes, made little holes, attached the hoops and earring hooks.
You can cover it with lacquer to keep longer.
Glue on beads, feathers, glitter, etc.

Little paper box (a)
2 postcards / greeting cards OF THE SAME SIZEScissorsRulerBlunt object (eg: blunt letter opener)PencilCellotape
How deep you make your box is up to you! Remember this:
the top lid has to be 2 mm bigger than the bottom!!

Bottom box lid (right):

*GOLDEN RULE: Top lid’s border has to be 2 mmSMALLER than the bottom lid!

Little box (c)
Now you have a border outlined on the back of both
cards.
Now! Cut along the short crossed lines on 2 opposite ends only!!! (I’ve cut it on
the short sides of the card –meaning left and right on the picture (left). You do that on
both cards.
What I mean by that is you don’t want to cut the corner squares out… you just want to create a flap. So you just
cut along that little line!
(If unsure, go to the link below.)

Little box (d)
Take your ruler and blunt object (blunt letter opener) and ‘score’ onto the pencil
border lines.
Then using the ruler on the line, carefully fold up the border edges – on all 4 sides of
both the cards.
Little box (e)
Now you fold in the cut ‘flaps’ to form one side of the box. You can then cellotape
the flaps together or hot glue it – or staple it.

Little box
Here I’ve used bigger borders on my postcards. For the bottom lid, I used a border of 3 cm.
For the top lid, I used a border of 2.8 cm.
You can see the box is smaller, but deeper! I’ve also just stapled the flaps to form the box.
Place sweets / chocolates / jewelry in the box. What a lovely homemade gift!!!
You can of course further decorate the outside of the box using beads, feathers, etc.
