Since 2009 I have been working as a freelance creative marketer and manager for a successful art gallery - I wear a lot of hats that I get to change everyday. ENTREPRENEUR: OregonWineCountry.travel - advertising & concierge platform After being a highly sought after concierge for the wine industry, I developed a web platform that personalized experiences for international tourists year round. “Rain or Shine, We love Oregon Wine Country” an off-season campaign Leveraged my relationships, sales, marketing, and design assets to produce the first region- wide off season campaign with 90 hand-picked B2B participants for 1,500+ B2C customers. • B2B sales & support – 50 boutique/luxury wineries and 40 lodging, touring, and retail partners. • B2C sales– 1,500 passports distributed to: • the guests at The Allison Inn & Spa (just ranked #20 in the world by Travel + Leisure) purchased one passport for every guest staying at the luxury inn during March and April. • top executives and leaders in Portland thanks to partners at the Portland Business Alliance. • all products were available to purchase online through my responsive e-commerce website. Concierge Services - Listening to customers to plan their perfect trip to Oregon Wine Country • built hundreds of personalized itineraries, maps, and experiences to optimize the guest’s time, budget and travel needs. “If one does not understand that Lauren (Wylie) is eager, sincere, interested, and really wants to help they shouldn’t take any trips anywhere.” Tom from Dallas, Texas. I closed OregonWineCountry.travel in July 2015 after two profitable years. Though the company was making unprecedented headway in the region, I evaluated my efforts, the time needed to achieve success, and my personal fulfillment. In the end, the numbers and personal sacrifice didn’t add up to be the life I wanted to lead. I now look forward to focusing my energies towards one united mission.
