What is the Education Support Team?

• Support service for students and staff at the Institute of Psychiatry

• Supports all aspects of learning and teaching

• Includes core team and programme administrators local to students/programme teams

• Provides interface between IOP and KCL student services

How can the Education Support Team support you?

• First point of contact for any queries you have (either through programme administrator or core team)

• Provision of letters (eg bank/council tax), travel discount forms

• Tuition fee queries• Welfare advice• Accommodation

What does the Education Support Team do?

Support for postgraduate taught & research students

• Administer all aspects of taught and research programmes (student admission, progression & completion)

• General support and guidance for students and programmes and dealing with enquiries

• Student records administration and fees• Coordinates local student services; accommodation,

welfare, careers and disability advice• Support for international students

What does the Education Support Team do?

Other activities• Managing events (e.g. induction, enrolment)• Committee servicing• Room bookings• Marketing and advertising strategy and

production of marketing materials• Support for e-learning including web

development, and learning innovation• Support for quality assurance (e.g. student

feedback, programme reviews)
