Benefits of IRUG Membership
• Access to an internationally recognized tool for safety and engineering analyses of nuclear power reactors
• Provides a control point for maintenance and improvements to RELAP5-3D
• Helps users develop a working knowledge of RELAP5-3D and its application
• Cost sharing mechanism for code improvements
2010 Highlights
• Significantly improved turn around time for new license requests– BEA Export Compliance review time reduced by 60% – Created standardized license agreement templates
• Request for information forms• License terms and conditions• Developed alternative language for state universities
• Continue to reinvesting 93% of license fees in RELAP5-3D
• Growing membership in IRUG – additional new members
• A Beta Test version of RELAP5-3D 3.0 (Fortran 95) soon available
