Person Specification

• Need to have a degree, at least• Able to speak, read and write in fluent standard English• Love working with children • Energetic and creative• Good communication skills (both oral and written)• High level of organisational and planning skills• Committed to primary teaching and a desire to develop a career in

teaching• Able to commit to at least 3 years working at Bridge Academy

Roles and responsibilitiesThe Job Descriptions are very similar:

Class teachers (x 4)= responsible for the educational progress and well-being of the children allocated to their class

Teaching Assistants (x 4) = supports the class teacher to carry out his/her role

• Class teachers: 15,000 – 20,000 taka per month• Teaching Assistants 10,000 – 15,000 taka per month• Two festival bonuses• Contribution to Provident Fund• Initial Teacher Training intensive 4 week programme • On-going training and development, including specialist
