A Message About Covid 19

The Denton Festival Foundation is taking the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously and have been diligently working to ensure a safe and fun environment for everyone at this year’s Denton Arts and Jazz Festival. While the majority of the event is located outdoors, the City of Denton currently has a mask mandate in place for inside all city buildings and will be on hand to enforce this during the event.

We have eliminated the Center stage (inside the Senior Center) to help reduce crowding. The Senior Center will not be open during the event. In addition, the number of participants will be reduced to a smaller number at one time.

We have added full sinks to all of our portable restroom stations and will be adding sanitizing stations throughout the park. Signage reminding attendees to mask up in crowded areas and practice social distancing will also be placed throughout the park.

In an effort to reduce crowding, vendor booths will be spaced out as much as possible, both indoors and out,  and we have added credit card terminals to all of the Denton Festival Foundation booths to allow for touch less pay to help reduce the need to handle cash.

Eliminated printed brochures in favor of issuing a QR code which will be displayed throughout the park so that people can scan the code with their cell phones and immediately pull up a map of the park,  stage line-ups and a list of all vendors and where they are located within the park.
