Defined: The study of people's choices that they make to satisfy their needs or wants.
There are two types of Economic studies
Microeconomics: the study of economics at the business level.
Macroeconomics: which is the behavior of all economies.
We want to focus on microeconomics to ensure that we take the correct approach to creating a successful shoe.

3. Factors of Production
Resources that can be used to produce goods and services.
The four:
Natural resources
Human resources
Capital resources
Entrepreneurship

4. A Firm
Hires or demands factors of production and utilizes them to create/ sell goods/services
A. Corporations- infinite life limited liability can raise money easily.
B. Proprietorship- Single owner, Full liability, Limited access to fundraising cannot sell stocks.
C. Partnership- Two or more owners, shared liability, limited access to fund rising.

5. Now What is a Corporation
A company recognized by law as a single body with its own powers and liabilities, separate from those of the individual members.
Corporations perform many of the functions of private business, governments, educational bodies, and the professions.

6. How We Viewed Your Four Options
Unskilled labor without the contract with Mr. Beckett

Skilled labor without the contract

7. Our Thoughts
If you choose the unskilled route in both circumstances your shoes production would be cheap and your prices would be low.
Your shoes reputation wouldnt be very high.
You would attract low income Families and fans of Beckett.

With the contract your shoe would be indorsed and your reputation would be very high. The production would cost a lot and the contract would cost you money as well.
