Harness the Strength of an Integrated Testing SystemThe testing power and utility of each base MTSInsight testing system is created through a net-worked set of three major elements: the personalcomputer (PC) running TestWorks 4 TestingSoftware, the load frame with integrated digitalcontroller, and the programmable handset. Thesethree components create an integrated testing sys-tem that offers flexible testing capabilities with asimple operator interface.

The operator uses the PC to quickly and easilyrun tests with TestWorks 4 Testing Software.TestWorks 4 sends testing instructions to the loadframe’s internal digital controller for high-speedtesting control. As the test is run, the digital con-troller collects and interprets test data to sendback to TestWorks 4 for display, analysis, andreporting. The handset allows the operator to per-form standard and programmable functions whilestanding close to the test specimen.

All MTS Insight testing systems offer load cellswith TEDS self-identification capabilities that followthe recently adopted IEEE 1451.4 standard. Loadcell self-identification increases laboratory efficiencyand reduces potential operator error by eliminatingthe need to manually enter load cell and transduceridentification information

Powerful Testing Capabilitiesin a Smaller Package

MTS Insight Electromechanical Testing Systemsoffer a full range of testing capabilities, with asmaller load frame footprint. Single-column loadframes and double-column load frames are avail-able with a range of load capacities. Constructedwith a solid steel crosshead and table for stiffness,MTS Insight testing systems are designed to deliverexceptional results, and feature excellent reliability, performance, and accuracy. MTS Insight testingsystems are easy to maintain, and all MTS systemcomponents are covered by a one-year warranty.

MTS Insight testing systems dependably performstandard tests such as peel, tear, sheer, tensile, compression, and flex/bend. More advanced testscan also be performed, such as creep, stress relax-ation, and multi-cycle. Offering user-definedcrosshead speeds as well as advanced controlmodes such as load and strain, MTS Insight testingsystems can analyze a wide array of materials, including components, biomaterials, plastics, metals, elastomers, paper products, adhesives, and foam. Anti-rotate feature improves alignment, prevents accidental drops, and provides forrepeatable positioning.

MTS Insight load frames also offer:
