(These are private organizations not affiliated with the Sierra Club.) The curriculum will be an expanded version of WMA’s WFA course, intended to specifically satisfy the Sierra Club Angeles Chapter’s wilderness first aid certification requirements. The course will include certification at the level of Wilderness First Aid, and includes Layperson-level CPR certification, and epinephrine use for anaphylaxis. All certifications are from WMA, and are valid for three years. Note that this WFA certification is NOT upgradeable to the level of Wilderness First Responder. For more information about WMA, check out their website: www.wildmed.com
