Minnesota Statute 16C.144

• State empowered to enter into guaranteed energy savings agreements and lease purchase agreements intended to achieve utility, operation and maintenance cost savings

– Qualified provider selected through competitive process

– Implementation of utility cost savings measures can’t exceed savings

– Payback not to exceed 15 yrs
