WSRC Board of Director Elections
Each year three positions come up for election. Nomination forms are available in the office
for those interested in running for the 2015 WSRC Board of Directors.
It is a 3 year term.

All forms must be dropped off in the WSRC office
or with any board member by August 1st.
Elections will be held on August 24th at the Annual Board Meeting

The Weddington Wahoos Division 1 Dive Team had a very successful 2014 season. Not only did our team double in size, but we finished in 3rd place for our regular season with a 3-2
record. On June 28, our Wahoo divers also took 3rd place at the Greater Charlotte Diving League All- Star Meet. Special kudos
go out to Abby Bernard and Drew Brupbacher for being named our teams most Valuable Divers. Congratulations to Coaches
Alex Miller and Mark Weaver along with our entire team for an awesome season. We are proud of all of you!
The dive team is a fun way to keep in shape for the summer,
learn how to dive and become a part of a close knit team. Please consider joining us next summer!

Weddington Swim and Racquet Club Policy for Non-Members on WSRC Teams
In order to protect the membership of our tennis players, we have created the following policy regarding non-members on teams.
1. Captains are required to use WSRC members before non-members are considered.
2. When members have expressed an interest in “playing-up” a USTA level, captains should consult with Mike Murphy regarding these members versus using non-members.
3. If our member population cannot satisfy the need for players, the captain must obtain approval from Mike Murphy BEFORE extending invitations to non-members.
4. A $50 flat fee for each non-members on teams will be charged. No refunds. The fee is payable at the time of registration.
5. Once on a team, non-members are entitled to attend only scheduled practices and matches during the season of the team they participate on. (Typically 3 weeks prior to the first match, through the last match)
6. Teams may have a maximum of 3 non-members. 7. This policy is effective starting in the Fall 2014 USTA season. 8. Beginning in January 2015, Non-members may participate on WSRC teams once
in the Spring or Fall seasons, and once in Summer Mixed Doubles with pre-approval from Mike Murphy.
MIXED DOUBLES SOCIAL
The Mixed Doubles Social will be on Saturday, July 19th from 6-9 pm.
The socials are held on the 3rd Saturday of every month
unless otherwise noted.
