Thousands of bears around the world endure a life of suffering because of cruel practices such as bear baiting, bear dancing and bear bile farming.
When disaster strikes, animals are often the forgotten victims. They may be separated from their owners, injured, or abandoned with no food or shelter.
The plight of stray dogs is one of the most prominent animal welfare issues globally. Dogs are subjected to cruelty, neglect and inhumane culling.
Despite their loyalty, many working donkeys around the world suffer a life of poor treatment, overwork and neglect.
FEED A BEAR $13
You could feed a bear at our Balkasar Sanctuary for a week with this gift, which would buy fruit, bread, veggies, honey and nuts.
VACCINATE A DOG $40
In fact this gift could vaccinate 10 dogs! Support our Collars not Cruelty campaign and help pay for rabies vaccinations to stop dogs being cruelly killed.
FIRST AID PACK $16
This gift could buy an emergency kit for an animal affected by a disaster, including band-ages and iodine.
VET EXAM $100
This gift could pay for a sick, injured or abused donkey to receive a full veterinary exam.
VET TREATMENT $100
This gift could pay for veterinary medicine for an abused bear for six months at the Balkasar bear sanctuary.
NEUTER A DOG $20
This is the most humane way to control stray dog populations. This gift would allow one dog to be neutered in Sierra Leone.
EMERGENCY FEED $80
This gift would pay for a week of emergency hay feed for 10 cows or horses in the aftermath of a disaster.
HAY FOR A DAY $36
This gift would pay for all the feed and hay needed at the Pegasus equine shelter in Israel for a whole day.
