I once read a book called The Collector. Its about a man who kidnaps a girl, andshe eventually dies. Its quite a horrible

story, but I liked it. Ferdinand Clegg is veryinhibited with women, he doesnt knowhow to talk to them, so he kidnaps a girlhes seen in the town. He keeps her in acottage and takes her photograph. In theend she dies but he didnt kill her. It waswritten by John Fowles. I liked it verymuch.

    Is this a good review????

    progresses.

just to look at and admire. All he wants of her is to take

her photograph. She is his latest and most preciousbutterfly. One of the most interesting aspects of the story is theportrayal of Miranda, as she tries to handle the bizarre

situation she finds herself in. Her behaviour goes toextremes - from trying to understand Ferdinand and be
