This strategy document has been produced for the following purposes:

� Establishment site specific restrictions on vehicle parking by Construction Workers

� Detail available options for construction workers travelling to the site

∇ ADCO estimates the daily number of construction workers on site will average 56 with a peak

number of 80.

Based on an average of 56 workers per day the following distribution of transport modes to

site are assumed:

- Percentage of workers using individual vehicles 70% = 39 Vehicles

- Percentage of workers using carpool arrangements with fellow colleagues 15%

- Percentage of workers using public transport 15%

Client requirements ∇ The school has requested no parking by any construction workers in Highlands Ave from the

Schools Gate 6 to Fern Ave – refer below

Traffic Management ∇ Traffic management requirements will be implemented by competent approved personnel.

∇ All workers are all required to comply with the set conditions as defined in the TMP.

∇ A copy of the TMP will be available from the Site Manager and posted on the Site Notice

Board. Conditions will be communicated to workers prior to project commencement, during

the site induction at with other consultative forums.

∇ Only certified personnel are permitted to undertake traffic control duties in accordance with

relevant legislative requirements.

∇ Subcontractors are responsible for providing all traffic control in the delivery of any materials,

plant of equipment they are responsible for under their respective subcontract

On site Parking ∇ There is no designated space for construction workers to park their vehicles on site for an

extended period. When required, workers will be allowed to drive onto site to off-load

materials, tools and equipment required to complete their works for a maximum period of

20min.

Off site Parking ∇ Construction workers are to adhere to all local parking restrictions

∇ Construction workers are to refrain from loud talking, foul language, littering, loud car noises

e.g. excessive revving, and slamming car doors in and around residential streets.

∇ Construction workers are to obey traffic and carpark restrictions during School drop off and

pick up times

∇ Construction workers are to ensure that their parked vehicle does not obstruction private

driveways or pedestrian paths

Public Transport ∇ Construction workers will be encouraged to utilise the available public transport options

∇ Waitara Train Station: 750m walk via Park Lane

SURVEY OF AVAILABLE STREET CARPARKING

A survey of the surrounding streets to the site was undertaken 12:40pm Thursday 7 March 2019 and confirmed the following:

- Parking restrictions

- All day parking available

- Number of private vehicles that park on a typical day and the number of spaces available
