Dear Kilbourne Family,

On April 2nd web filtering rules will be changed which will have impact across the district. The Social Media and Social Network categories will be blocked for middle school, high school, and guests--the two categories were already blocked for elementary schools.

Sites associated with the two categories will be blocked for all students and anyone with a personal device using the Worthingtonguest wireless network will also be blocked from these two categories. This includes district employees using their personal equipment.

At this time, streaming media, such as Youtube, Vimeo, etc., will not be blocked with this adjustment. Furthermore, filtering changes have no impact on users accessing their own data plans and not using our network.

These changes are aligned to the services provided by many of the school districts in Central Ohio. We do not want to promote distractions to learning or provide a platform for negative behavior. This is not an indictment of Social Media, but it is a step to deter students. We do believe that many of our clubs and activities use Social Media in a positive and supportive manner.

WKHS ACT Testing Day RESCHEDULED / Tuesday, April 2 **This day’s schedule will affect all students**

Due to inclement weather, the state-funded ACT test for 11th grade students that was originally scheduled for February 20 has been rescheduled. Worthington’s 11th grade students will now take the ACT on April 2. Students with multi-day testing accommodations will test between April 2 and April 8. There will be TWO bus runs on April 2, the second one running exactly 3 hours later than the first (regular) run. Click here to view details and see how the schedule will affect all grades.

*Please note: while all bus routes will run on regular schedules first thing in the morning to bring all JUNIORS to school, there will be a second run three hours later for freshmen, sophomores and seniors. These students should expect their buses to

arrive at stops exactly three hours later than normal pickup time.

Acts of God by Mark Rigney / Studio Theatre Production / April 4, 5, 6 at 7:30 pm

A storm-tossed swirl of a play, Acts of God tracks twelve high school students through the year following a devastating tornado strike. As the students grieve, assist in the recovery efforts, and tackle the basics of getting on with life, they must also cope with the storm's emotional detritus. Friendships and allegiances shift, beliefs and faith are tested, and the threat of a new storm forces each character to relive the once-in-a-lifetime terror they thought they'd put behind them. Curtain time is 7:30 pm / Box office opens at 7:00 pm / Tickets may be ordered online here.
