SAVE THESE DATES!

Burnett Avenue Baptist Church has adopted Indian Trail

Elementary School. Each year we ask our congregation to

help purchase Christmas gifts for the children of Indian Trail

and their school-age siblings. We adopt ten (10) families

with 3 to 5 children each. To be a blessing to one, or more

of these children, complete the following steps:

1. Select one or more tag(s) from a Christmas tree in the

foyer. (pink = girl; blue = boy)

2. Take the Tag to the Elf Table and register your Elf Tag

ID# along with your name and phone number.

3. Purchase only the item(s) on the Elf Tag according to

the size or description given.

4. For safety reasons, gifts CANNOT be wrapped.

5. Attach Elf Tag to the gift or inside the store bag.

(Christmas gift bags can be used)

6. Return the item(s) to Burnett Avenue by December 16.

Gifts are sorted by family ID and delivered to Indian Trail

School on Dec. 18; the parents pick the gifts up from the

school Dec. 19-21.

Burnett Avenue’s Year-End Business Meeting will be held

Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

All members are encouraged to attend. Master Life

completion is not required to attend business meeting. We

will review our 2018 accomplishments and Pastor Shull will

cast the vision for our 2019 church initiatives. No Bible

Study classes Dec. 5th.

Just ASK! A new ministry of The Net begins in December, 2018! Led

by Sisters Debra Ramsey and Priscilla Plenty, this ministry

seeks to greet, inform, and direct you to whatever you’re

trying to find. A representative will be on duty at every

worship service, including Wednesday nights to disseminate

information on current and upcoming events. They will also

be able to answer questions from guests and members

about our church, classes, meetings and ministry in general.

If you’ve completed Master Life, and would like to join this

ministry, contact Rev. Tonya Triplett or call the church office.

The Welcome Center information Ministry’s scripture is

Matthew 7:7 – “Ask, and it will be given to you; Seek, and

you will find; Knock, and it will be opened to you.” So,

anytime you have a question, just ASK!

creating your own holiday cookbook as you go.
