• Recommendations for Deacon Nominations - In accordance with our guidelines for the Deacon body, “any active church member may recommend, verbally or in writing, candidates” to be nominated for the position of deacon. All recommendations should be made directly to Conrad Missildine by October 26. • Men’s Wild Game Dinner Needs - The Men’s Ministry will host a Wild Game Dinner on Thursday, November 12. To make this event a success, we need a few things. First, we need wild game. Clean out those freezers and share some game! Second, we need door prizes...especially things like Auburn/Alabama tickets; services from church members’ businesses; donations of items, gift cards, etc. If you have any items to share, please contact Dean Finch by phone (271-3363) or e-mail (Dean@TaylorRoad.org).

• Taylor Road Treats the Town - Saturday, October 31, 4:00-6:00 p.m. Candy donations are needed.

The fervent prayers, considerate visits, encouraging telephone calls, beautiful and inspiring cards, and delicious food were all sources of comfort and support prior to, during, and after my back surgery. God answered our prayers and used the skills of many in the medical profession to help alleviate my pain.
