Page 2: Worry

We are going to challenge ourselves to

take on a spiritual

principle of not worrying.

Page 3: Worry

Briefly lets remind ourselves…

why we shouldn’t worry.

“If your eyes are blindly be your

worries, you can not see the

sunset.”Jiddu Krishnamurti

Page 4: Worry

Once you accomplish the task of putting

aside worrying… then something occurs to you…

should I be worried that I’m

not worrying enough?

Page 5: Worry

Let us move on to a place of talking

about more than just our own worrying

about ourselves and circumstances… and

consider as a spiritual principle -

the power of not worrying.

Page 6: Worry

And imagine what we could offer the

world in that spiritual place…

“Worry is an addiction that interferes with compassion”

~Deng Ming-Dao

Worry is a choice we make.

A choice we make to give our

energy to something negative.

Page 9: Worry

That the birds of worry and care fly

over your head, this you cannot change, but that

they build nests in your hair, this you

can prevent. ~Chinese Proverb

There are lots thing to worry about choose not to worry about them…. And don’t worry that you aren’t worrying enough

Page 11: Worry

We have replaced action and compassion with worry. And thus

become convinced that worry itself is an

action, that it’s the smart thing to do… that

we are bad parents, bad planners,

unaware of reality, less intelligent,

if we do not worry.

Page 12: Worry

But think of what you are putting out

there…. More worry….

worry is contagious, do you actually

need to add more worry to your life?

Page 13: Worry

Beware of worriers or people who feed your fears. Be aware of the fact that your worrying

can impact your children and others around you. Don’t

spread your worrying. “If things go wrong,

don't go with them.” ~Roger Babson

The world does not need more

worry… the world needs

compassion….Take on the

spiritual task of having compassion for people around

you.

Page 15: Worry

Now I’ve already got you worrying about your ability

to do that….Here’s some

advice..

Page 16: Worry

“I keep the telephone of my mind open to peace, harmony, health,

love and abundance. Then, whenever doubt, anxiety or fear try to call me, they keep

getting a busy signal - and soon they'll forget my

number.” ~Edith Armstrong

Stop answering the call to worry…

Answer the call to love, to accept those around you…to feel

compassion and thus to bring to the world

the peace it so desperately needs.
