World Water Challenge is an international contest for water solutions. As a follow up activity of the 7th World Water Forum in 2015, it has been annually held in conjunction with the Korea International Water Week(KIWW), aiming to identify imminent water problems that world is facing and to find feasible solutions to them.
World Water Challenge 2019 will be held as one of the signature programs of KIWW 2019 which will take place in September in Daegu Metropolitan City, Republic of Korea. This 5th edition of the World Water Challenge is expected to serve its role as an important platform to share not only innovative scientific/technological methods but also policy towards solving the defined water problems around the world also to forge a broad network among the experts and stakeholders in water sector as well as the diverse pool of solution providers.
Participants Anyone (as individual or on behalf of an organization) who is interested in water is welcome to participate in the program.
Application Solution providers are kindly requested to submit their proposals through the online submission system via the KIWW official website (www.kiww.org) using the provided application form. Please make sure that all submissions must be filled out in English.

The Award Ceremony will be held on September 6 at the closing ceremony of KIWW 2019 and the winners will be presented with a cash prize and trophy respectively.

Outcomes of the Previous World Water Challenges
The most imminent water challenges were selected by the international water experts.We are now calling for solutions to those selected challenges until July 28, 2019 through the KIWW website (www.kiww.org) Selected solution providers will be asked to present their solutions at the final round on September 5, 2019 and are requested to share their insights with experts and stakeholders in water sector through the open discussion.Based upon on-site evaluation, the winners of the World Water Challenge 2019 will be announced and awarded the cash prize with a trophy at the KIWW 2019 closing ceremony on September 6, 2019.
