MATCH FACTS

Romania won the tournament, winning all three of their matches

There was an average of 3.5 tries and 3.5 penalty goals per match

The winning team scored the most tries in all six of the matches

Three of the six matches had a points difference of 21 or more

The lineout continued to be the most fruitful source of tries, with almost 40 per cent coming from this source.

Only one of 21 tries were scored from turnovers

One try in five started from inside the scoring team’s own half – three of the four tries were scored by Argentina Jaguars

76 per cent of tries contained two or fewer phases and 77per cent contained three or fewer passes

Eleven tries were scored in the first half and 10 in the second
