Uponcompletionofthecourse,participantswillbeabletoapplytheprinciplesdirectlyintotheirclinicalpractice:

Attheconclusionofthiscourse,participantsshouldbeableto:

1)DifferentiatesubjectiveandobjectiveclinicalcharacteristicsintheCNSpainmechanismsincluding:centralsensitization,affectiveandmotor/autonomic.

2)ApplyCNSpainmechanismclassificationprinciplestoaneurologicalpatientpopulation.

3)ClassifyCNSdominantpainmechanismsandprescribeindividualizedpatienteducationandactivecareinterventiontomusculoskeletalandneurologicalpatients.

4)Administer,interpret,andusepatientratedpsychometricoutcomemeasuresintheeducationandactivecareprovidedtoeachpatient.

5)Effectivelycommunicatepaineducationwithinanindividualandgroupmodel.

6)Effectivelyevaluateandtreatmotor/autonomicsensorimotordysfunctions.
