One of the loveliest festivals depicting theculture of Colombia, the Medellin FlowerFestival is a ten day celebration of beautyand of life itself. The festival has over 140events but the show-stealer is the flowerbearer’s parade. Dazzling displays of flowerarrangements mounted on huge circularcontraptions (silleta) are carried by ruralflower farmers on their backs.
