INVITATION LETTER

Dear Friend and Colleague,

O n behalf of the International Association of Endodontic Associations (IFEA) and the Hellenic Endodontic Society we are very pleased to invite you to the IFEA 8th Endodontic World Congress,

to be held in Athens, Greece, on October 6-9, 2010.In 2010, the International Federation of Endodontic Associations celebrates 20 years of organizing high caliber Endodontic Congresses around the world. After Mexico City in 1990, Paris in 1992, Rome in 1995, Jerusalem in 1998, Madrid in 2001, Brisbane in 2004 and Vancouver in 2007, the 2010 Congress returns to Europe and Athens.

Athens, named after Athena, goddess of wisdom and knowledge, represents more than 3000 years of Hellenic and Byzantine culture. In the aftermath of the 2004 Olympic Games, it is a modern, vibrant city with intense cultural and artistic activity and a very lively nightlife. Athens, with its blend of history and modernity, together with its natural beauty and mild climate, is a unique and interesting city to visit and enjoy.

The Organizing Committee is preparing a comprehensive scientific programme which addresses the needs of our clinical discipline from both the scientific and practical aspects. Plenary symposia, lectures and workshops will be given by distinguished clinicians and leading experts in endodontics. Our young and talented clinicians and researchers will also have the opportunity to present the fruits of their latest endeavors.

In the large trade exhibition which will be held at the Congress venue, the international dental companies will be eager to show you the latest advancements in en dodontic devices, materials and equipment.

Last but not least, an attractive and full of activities social programme will give you the opportunity to meet old friends, to make new acquaintances and to enjoy the traditional Greek hospitality, food, music and dance.

We cordially invite you to participate in an unforgettable Congress in the birthplace of philosophy, science and medicine.
