OIL CONSUMPTION QUESTIONS 1. The United States has the largest column. I think the US has the largest

column because we are a developed country, and have a strong enough economy to afford a lot of oil.

2. Afghanistan has the smallest column. This is probably because it is a very undeveloped country and the economy is growing very slow.

3. The 5th and 6th column are Canada and Mexico. Canada is developed and Mexico is developing. They are there because they have good economies, not great, not bad.

4. Bolivia and France the 7th and 8th ranked countries, they are developing countries. If so, In order to get to the top half of the rankings, they need to grow there economy to be able to buy more oil.

5. Another country that stands out to me on the chart is China. It stands out to me because it has a bigger population than the US, so I thought it should need more oil. But it probably can’t afford more oil.

INTERNET USER QUESTIONS

1. China has the largest column. I think the China has the most internet users because they have the biggest population and lots of people need internet access for every day things, China’s economy can afford it.

2. Holy Sea has the smallest column. This is because the population is so low., and Holey Sea is for popes, and pope’s might not want to use the internet due to religious beliefs.

3. Mexico is 5th and developing, and Canada is 6th and developed. They are where the are because they are tiny countries and they need to grow their economy.

4. Bolivia is 7th, and Afghanistan and Haiti are tied for 8th; they are all developing counties. To get to the top half of the rankings they would need to grow their economy because that will make people want to move their and a lot of people use the internet.

5. Mexico stands out to me because even though it is a developing country, it still has more internet users than Canada, an already developed country.

PHYSICIAN DENSITY QUESTIONS1. France has the largest column. This may be because they want to

have lots of doctors so people in need of medical assistants can get help fast.

2. Afghanistan has the smallest column. This could be because their economy can’t afford a lot of medical help.

3. Canada is the 5th, and developed. China is the 6th, and developed. They were there because they have good economies and they are big countries, but its just that there happened to be other countries that had more physicians.

4. Bolivia is the 7th, and undeveloped. Haiti is the 8th, and undeveloped. They need to grow a stronger economy to be able to afford more medical help.

5. France and Mexico stood out to me on the chart because even though the population for both wasn’t the highest, they still had the highest physician density. Mexico was also very surprising because it had the 2nd highest physician density and it is an under developed.
