I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
1. Site for construction of substation
The 220kV Tuy Hoa substation is planned to be constructed on rice-field land
and hilly waste land on the area of Xom Moi - Mau Lam Bac Villages- Hoa Quang
Bac Commune- Phu Hoa District - Phu Yen Province.
- North adjacent to cemetery area and hilly wast¢ land
- South adjacent to asphalt road inter-district of E¶hu Hoa
- East adjacent to rice-field and hilly waste land
- Southeast adjacent to populated area of Mau Le m Bac Village
- West adjacent to rice-field of Hoa Quang Bac qo-operative
2. Main characteristics of the project
+ Scope of project
- Voltage level: 220/110/22kV.
- Capacity: installed capacity for 02 transformers x 125MVA - in first stage,
installing 01 transformer.

+ 220kV side: Apply the scheme "double bus ar systems with transfer bus,bus-section circuit breaker in combination with bus co upling breaker". Switchgear isinstalled outdoor.
+ IIOkV side: Apply the scheme "Double busbar systems with transfer bus,bus-section circuit breaker in combination with bus coupling breaker". Switchgear isinstalled outdoor.

The substation is constructed as semi-outdoot type in which 220kV, 110kV
switchgears, protection and control system at feeder are installed outdoor; control
system at substation level and SCADA/EMS system are installed indoor.
