Creative Sewing Forum Membership is $38.00 for 12 months. Membership entitles you to 10% discount on fabric and haby. Come for inspiration – we will show you ideas on how to use simple techniques to make sewing easy and fun – whatever your level of experience is. Each month we will feature a different idea and you will be invited to ‘share and show’ your ideas to the group. Extra special prices on selected fabrics and haby are available each month for CSF Members!

Pfaff & Husqvarna Viking Embroidery Machine ClubMembership is $80.00 per year. Join in bi-monthly workshops and learn how to make the most out of your embroidery machine. Membership entitles you to 10% discount on fabric, haby and machine accessories not already discounted. Cost of kits for workshops is extra.

Melanns Sewing ClubMembership is $55.00 per year. Join in monthly workshops and learn how to make the most out of your sewing machine or overlocker. Membership entitles you to 10% discount on fabric and haby not already discounted. Classes are held on a Monday morning or evening. Any brand of sewing machine or overlocker is welcome. Cost of kits for workshops is extra.

General Sewing ClassesClasses run for 2 hours each Wednesday morning or afternoon. We cater for beginners to more advanced sewers who are able to work on the project of their choice and at their own pace. Classes are small so you are able to get lots of individual attention. Prices are $18.50 per class or $80.00 for 5 classes. Suitable for any brand of sewing machine.

Saturday Sewing ClassesClasses run for 2 ½ hours on Saturday morning. We cater for beginners to more advanced sewers who are able to work on the project of their choice and at their own pace. Classes are small so you are able to get lots of individual attention. Price is $24.00 per class or $100.00 for 5 classes. Suitable for any brand of sewing machine.

Basic Overlocking Class for all Brands of OverlockersDo you have trouble changing the settings on your overlocker? Become better friends with your overlocker by learning the basics of how it works and simple techniques involved with both utility and decorative stitches. The course finishes with a final project to tie all your new skills together. Cost of the course (9 hours over 2 days) is $90.00 plus kit cost.

Young Sewers Class Classes are held every school holidays especially for the Young Sewers. In each class you will complete a different useful project and learn the

basics of construction and machine use. Suitable for Young Sewers aged 8 to 15. Cost is $25.00 which includes kit. Suitable for any brand of sewing machine.

Lace Motifs RunnerCost: $70 + materials Bernadette ShearsFriday 1st Sep & 6th Oct 9.30 - 2.30pm You will use the beautiful designs from Zundt Coasters and Doilies CD to create a collage of circles to decorate your runner. The edge of the runner is trimmed with another Zundt lace design which you will make yourself and learn the way it is applied. Suitable for any brand of sewing/embroidery machine with a large hoop.

Come and get some guidance on any skill you are unsure of how to tackle such as making lace, cutwork, appliqué or even just lining up embroideries using your precise positioning feature on your machine. Any brand of embroidery machine welcome.

Previous Stitchers Gardens ladies have loved how much they have learnt about their machines while making this quilt. Free Motion Decorated Cushion Cost $70 + materials Annette HydeMonday 11th & 25th Sep 9.30 - 2.30pmStart to learn free motion quilting. We will cover a few simple free motion designs and you will learn how easily you can create wonderful textures and colours on your fabric. After the first lesson exploring free motion you will create a piping to compliment your design and complete the cushion cover with an invisible zip closure. Suitable for any brand of sewing machine.

Learn the Basics - Women's T-ShirtCost: $70 + materials Bernadette ShearsTuesday 12th & 19th Sep 9.30 - 2.30pmBack to basics in this class! Everything starts with a good basic foundation so come and learn the basic steps to making a plain t-shirt. You will choose the correct size for yourself, make any simple alterations and follow all the simple steps to make t-shirt making easy. Choose your own thread colours and fabric to match your bed linen and create yourself a beautiful pair of pillow cases. Stitch the background with decorative stitches and trim the edges with a satin peeper. Suitable for any sewing/embroidery machine with a large hoop.

Compute and SewCost: $45 + materials Letitia MooreTuesday 26th Sep 9.30 - 4.00pmIn this class Letitia will teach a computer embroidery digitising lesson which you will stitch out as well. You will cover digitising on the computer and precise positioning on your machine. You will also learn how to use a ruffler attachment and a hemming foot in this class. You will need laptop computer with Premier+ Ultra embroidery software and dongle (please ask for your options) Suitable for sewing embroidery machines with a large hoop.

Cutwork on Stretch FabricCost: $40 + materials Bernadette ShearsTuesday 31st Oct 9.30 - 2.30pmLearn how to use a cutwork embroidery design with your cutwork needles. This time it will be on stretch fabric. If you are confident making a t-shirt for yourself (see Back to Basics Women's T-Shirt class) you can use the design to make and embellish a T-Shirt or you can buy a T-Shirt to embellish. Suitable for any brand of sewing/embroidery machine with built-in cutwork designs.

Class Registration is Essential. A $20 Deposit is required when booking. Full payment for each class, including kits, must be paid 14 days before class is scheduled. Easy payment may be made over the phone via credit card, post a cheque or call in and see us. Don't forget to obtain your

requirement sheet and be sure you have all your equipment ready to start. Should classes be cancelled for any reason you will receive a full refund.
