the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The course is designed to give lower level undergraduate students a broad overview of the field of Peace and Conflict studies by exploring theories regarding the causes of conflict and possibilities for non-violent conflict transformation.

Designed and implemented community food projects involving local immigrant communities (2001 – 2003)

Initiated and managed project to provide housing for Hispanic immigrants after completely renovating structure - first of its kind in Morganton, NC (2000)

Taught English as a Second Language classes to Hispanic immigrants (2000) Oversaw operation of inner-city community residence in Chicago, IL for up to twelve

homeless persons. Assisted guests in becoming self-sufficient (1997-1998)
